We hired Carisa and her team for our wedding and would absolutely do so again! I met Carisa back in 2019 when my best friend was planning her wedding and hired her. I got to go with them to the rentals place and Carisa was so incredibly helpful. I remember thinking “wow this gal is so incredibly kind but I can tell she’d kick some ass if need be.” Fast forward to my own wedding and it was so fun to reconnect with Carisa and actually get to know her a bit more! With our budget I still did a ton of the prep work, but it was nice knowing she was there for recommendations and would eventually take over. Come wedding day, she KILLED it. She completely brought my entire vision to life and as soon as I saw even just the ceremony space decorated, I felt this huge weight lift and just could not even believe how amazing of a job she did. She was incredibly kind and supportive to my family, really it was just a fantastic experience over all and I’m incredibly grateful for Carisa and her team (special shoutout to Jennifer). Also, she’ll be your biggest hype woman so between her, my photographer, and the venue owners (all major hype energy), I was one very supported and incredibly lucky bride. Adornment Events, owned by the amazing Carissa, is hands-down one of the best wedding planning services in the Pacific Northwest! We've been fortunate to travel all the way from Australia to the PNW to document weddings for couples who have had the absolute privilege of working with her. Carissa is not just an incredible event planner with an eye for detail and a gift for making everything run seamlessly—she's also an absolute blast to be around. (Seriously, check out the photos of her tearing it up on the dance floor. She brings the energy!) Working alongside her on spectacular weddings, like those at The Barn at Countryside and Skamania Lodge, has been such an honor. Carisa and her team were so incredible to partner with for our wedding! She worked with us for nearly 2 and 1/2 years and was a total rockstar through all of the COVID ups and downs. She helped put us at ease through those crazy years of planning - including helping us plan our wedding from across the world! Carisa and her team of rockstars at Adornment Events are so incredible. During our first phone call with Carisa, I could tell how much she cared about providing fantastic wedding day experiences for her couples, and how detail oriented she is. Throughout all of the planning process she was beyond helpful and was truly a joy to work with. She answered all of my (many) questions with positivity and enthusiasm as if we were the #1 thing on her mind. When planning a wedding you have so many vendors that come together to create your special day. Carisa and her team were the glue that brought our entire vendor team together. Having her manage the communication across the vendor team and work behind the scenes to make sure everything was set up according to plan was amazing. Having worked in the event industry in the past, I knew that inevitably there would be some curveballs thrown at us during wedding week/day. Carisa handled these curveballs with grace and a "get it done" attitude. I HIGHLY recommend Carisa and the entire team at Adornment Events. It was a joy to work with them while planning our wedding and we are so thankful for their hard work making our dream day a reality.
We all know trying to plan a wedding is quite a daunting task. I was a little overwhelmed when I started the journey, but overall so glad I was able to connect with incredible vendors. I would have hired Carisa and her team for full planning if I could. It wasn't in our budget due to life and the pandemic. But, so happy we hired them as our partial planning team. Everyone we worked with was kind, understanding, and flexible with our ideas. My husband and I had a particular theme we wanted, and they helped us create the perfect environment. So grateful to have found Adornment Events!
