I called this office today and a wonderful young lady called Cara picked the phone. She was professional and very pleasant to speak with. I needed some documentation for my attorney and she was kind enough to email it to me with a HIPPA complaint software password. Employees like this are hard to find and i hope that your office keeps her for a long time.
I had a wonderful experience with Christy and Rose during my immigration exam process. They were incredibly kind, patient, and professional from start to finish. Both took the time to clearly explain each step, answered all my questions, and made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and reassuring. Their attention to detail and genuine care truly stood out. I’m very grateful for their support and would highly recommend them to anyone going through an immigration medical exam.
Pretty incompetent coordination, and wrong information provided that impacts efficiency and timeliness of care, but the actual medical staff are ok. I brought my elderly mother in for urgent care (I suspected she had pneumonia because I've had it before). The actual medical staff are fine (I've been to AFC Arlington before and had decent care from the medical staff on call then). But this time, with suspected pneumonia, chest x rays are necessary to confirm. We were given a referral sheet for locations by AFC Arlington where we could get x rays. One of the locations was a satellite location for Winchester Hospital. I brought my mother (and new baby since there no one else to care for the baby as well) to the satellite location printed on their sheet, and the front desk there was horrified as well, as the location is only for ultrasounds, not for x rays. So then we tried Mount Auburn radiology. It's 2 days now, and I've even called Mount Auburn, and the radiology department were really, really frustrated with AFC Arlington as well. AFC Arlington claimed despite me calling multiple times the past 2 days that they never received the x rays, but Mount Auburn said they faxed it multiple times, and they only have this issue with AFC Arlington, which I believe Mount Auburn, because of how incompetent the front desk is (no proactive help- everything is I don't know, shrug, not my responsibility kind of attitude even when I called to ask why the wrong x ray location was provided in their printed handout!). They need to hire better front desk with more proactive sense of responsibility, take better ownership of whether they are getting the x ray faxes (they are capable of calling too if the patient has called multiple times to ask if the x ray results have been sent over). It's possible to get staff with better follow up- if a patient is calling multiple times to say they've done their x rays over 2-3 days, for the staff to also call through to the places they have referred to, other than shrugging and saying oh we never received it. In short, terrible, terrible attitude, lack of real accountability. Eventually the medical staff we contacted after several days was helpful (Thien?) but the front desk could have been much better!
Everything about the appointment was fine. The wait time was reasonable and the medical encounter was professional, comprehensive and resolved the medical issue. My complaint was the bill that was rendered after the insurance was paid. The co-pay was fine but when I paid with a credit card, the payment agency they used was going to add a 11% sur charge. I could understand a 3% charge which is pretty standard for credit charges. 11% borders on the unbelievable. Also, when paying on line, there was no indication on the CC charge until the very last step. At least inform people in advance what the charge would be. I deleted the payment on line and sent a check.
I have had two excellent appointments at this urgent care (November 2025). Both times I was seen right away by knowledgeable staff (PAs and doctors). I was treated kindly and everyone took my concerns seriously. Highly recommend!
