Pat and her son have great customer service, are very kind, reliable and quick; Pat's seamstress abilities are incredible, she fixed a pair of pants, several shirts and a sweater. Any item you have she can restore to brand new quality. Her prices are so reasonable I don't even know how she makes money! A final thought is I don't often do these reviews, but I wanted to give her this review because she didn't even ask for one!!!

Timely, Professional, Pat gets the job done. I enjoy working with Pat, she's direct and to the point. She will recommend what she believes is best, and will also listen to my preferences. Pat's turnaround is quick. She hemmed and tailored 4 items in a week, and she ensured my items were ready for pickup as promised.

I am not one to write reviews like this, and I will keep it as factual as possible, but I will never recommend this place to anyone. I am disappointed and frustrated with both the customer service, and also the job done. I had to make a dress larger, because I had mistakenly ordered the wrong size and did not have time to return/reorder it before my event. When I got to Alterations by Pat, I was told that a full 4 inches needed to be cut off the bottom of the dress, to which I questioned, as it made the dress too short. Ultimately, we agreed 2 inches was more than doable. Unfortunately, when I went to pick up my dress, I was not pleased with what I saw. The zipper was not in the middle and the new seams were not straight. Upon further inspection, I also noticed that the new cut at the bottom of the dress was also not straight. At the time of pick-up, I started by asking why the zipper was not in the middle, and tried to have a conversation about it. I was met with frustration and was told repeatedly that it was not possible without the 4 inches she originally requested. Well... I am no seamstress, but I knew that was not true, and she did not want to entertain any further discussion about it. I was charged $117.70 for this service. Picture is attached. Because my event is right around the corner, I frantically called around town to find an alternative tailor. One of the locations I contacted saw a picture of the work done, and agreed it was unacceptable. The saleswoman promptly called the tailor on her day off to work with me on a rush order. I picked up the revised dress and it looks much better - the zipper is in the middle, it actually fits me better, and the seams are sewn straight (thus, showing me that it was, in fact, possible to do). This was $101, which includes the cost for a rush order. AKA it was better work, for much less money. Picture also attached. I went back to Alternations by Pat and kindly asked for a refund, showing the before and after. Upon asking this, the seamstress raised her voice at me, asked me why I did not mention it when I was there (and as mentioned above, I did) and she was visibly upset that I asked. The service provided, the argumentative seamstress, inability to discuss the services provided, and the price I paid, has left me feeling the need to leave a review.

I bring a backpack that I really like. I went to Le's alteration and they couldn't do it. Went to Pat and I was very happy on how "lets get this done" attitude she had. Odds and ends, I would bring them here to see if Pat can fix them. I'll be returning thats for sure.
