WORST EXPERIENCE EVER at this furniture place with Jamal Naser. First of all, we did not receive all the pieces we were supposed to as discussed with the person who kept saying has "15 years" of experience. If the piece was not included in the set then why not specify since the beginning and say that it was available at an extra cost instead of saying the whole set was included. Second of all, we received the wrong color sofa and it's been almost a week since the delivery and not a single person has called to notify if anyone is coming to do the switch (and come to fix the defects on some of the furniture). Left the place very disappointed and pretty much crying after seeing how aggressive Jamal "their 15 year experienced" salesman got and started screaming at us saying he did not make a mistake. He said that it was impossible as he had been doing that job for too long. He pretty much called us liars and didn't recognize he made a mistake for not giving the right information and didn't apologize at all. The other staff supported him during the whole scandal saying he was experienced, blah blah, yet it seems they forgot that he called us about an hour after the sale was made and we had already left the store because somehow Mr. 15 years of experience forgot to make a copy of the receipt? We were nice enough to go back so he could fix his mistake. The old man kept screaming "sue me, sue me, and I wish I had recorded the man screaming because I'd probably sue him then. I did ask if they had recording cameras so we could go back to the day we purchased everything that's how desperate I was to show them I was not lying but of course no one said anything or maybe they have no cameras. Everything was paid in full which goes to show how all they care is the money and not the customers or the service they provide especially since they called us liars. Since it was a saturday there was no manager to speak with however, no manager has reached out whatsoever and that says a lot about their customer service. My furniture still needs fixing and I'm also waiting on my right color sofa. I will most likely never purchase from them again. 11/25/25 Marisol I did state in the email I sent you regarding the unpleasant experience I had at AFG. You replying to this review barely today demonstrates you were not aware of the whole situation nor did anyone reach out at any point to either apologize or clarify anything. However, I did say I was done arguing and just wanted to be at peace once I received all furniture. Nothing was promptly taken care of like you’re staying since I was the one reaching out multiple times asking for my furniture. I finally got the last piece today when everything should’ve been taken care of over a month ago.
I was literally the only Customer in the entire store interested in a few different pieces. The rep was nice but had zero desire in retaining my business. If your store has zero Customers, maybe try to seem interested in potential sales.
Both Julie and Jamal were outstanding! Very knowledgeable and helpful in our search for furniture. We purchased a bedroom set and ended up swapping out a chest for a dresser prior to delivery. Jamal was able to take care of the updated invoice remotely and saved me a trip back to the store. I will shop here again for any future needs.
I had such a great experience at American Furniture Galleries. Ray Garcia and his team did such a wonderful job from sales, customer service and delivery. I purchased this beautiful sleeper sofa couch and loveseat. The leather is durable and top quality. Ray went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. Happy Customer!
Still waiting Kelly.... 7 freaking months for a simple warranty repair. Does she email or return phone calls... nope. Update, they have replaced one broken sofa with another broken sofa..... another claim on the replacement broken sofa. Ray told me he will let me know when there is another replacement is available. I also brought it to his attention the love seat has manufacturing defects. My 2 year old can use a brad nailer better than these guys. Now as we stand today, Ray pushed me off to the the manufacture of the sofa. I now have a broken sofa and love seat. Kelly (who has the customer service abilities of a dog) contacted me and said "We would like to come and pick up the sofa and love seat and give you a refund. I said ok come get them, they picked them up the same day. When I went to get my refund she would not give me a full refund!! Now 5 days later Ray Garcia is not responding to emails. They took the furniture, refused a full refund and now are not responding. DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!! Update, after a month, Ray will not respond to emails. They have also ignored the complaint I filed with BBB.... I guess they think they will keep my money and the furniture.
