SAVE YOUR MONEY MORE IMPORTANTLY SAVE YOUR TIME!!!! I ordered the South Border drink and didn’t like it at all, so I sent it back immediately and ordered a different alcoholic drink that I did enjoy. Unfortunately, I was still charged for the drink I returned, which was disappointing—especially since it was sent back right away. On top of that, the server’s attitude felt off from the start and made the experience uncomfortable. The food also took a very long time to come out and was closer to cold than warm when it finally arrived. Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience.
I’ve visited this location a couple of times and I am able to say with confidence that the menus are consistently dirty. The syrup dispensers are also sticky and always have dry, congealed syrup residue in excess. In the past I returned to give the restaurant another chance due to how charming the area that the restaurant is located in, however, during my last visit with my fiancé; the service was not good. Our waitress Breena did not check in our table and we were only offered refills at the end of our visit, prior to asking if we’d like the check. I had a question about the pricing of the two meals that we’d ordered, as the price was not reflected nor consistent with the menu. We were told that the menus that we were given were old and the pricing was not the same any longer. I went on to question how we were being charged a different price without being made aware of “new pricing”. After asking, before I could finish my sentence, Breena cut me off and exclaimed that she would check on it but did not maintain a kind demeanor nor disposition. I was holding the check in my hand so I could explain what items I was referring to but it was abruptly ripped out of my hand. Needless to say, this entire interaction was unacceptable. I also must say that we were not the only table to asked this question, there were two additional tables seated adjacent to us that had similar problems and questions regarding the pricing. Parking is not great, there is no cellphone reception inside of the building and the food should make up for these shortcomings but honestly the service would make me pass on even entering the building when there are a plethora restaurants in the area, even down the sidewalk that would be a better option. Our food came out lukewarm and the cheese in our eggs was not warm because of how long our plates sat in the window of the kitchen. Sadly, I would dissuade anyone from going to here, which, is sad because the Apple Fritter French Toast is really good. I can’t sacrifice being treated with kindness to simply patronize this location. I’d recommend everyone to visit the Moorisville location instead.
I ate here on Monday, November 3rd and I couldn't say anything ill about this place whatsoever. I was greeted and seated wonderfully, followed up by stellar service (sorry I didn't get the server's name but she was amazing 🤩). I started with a cup of coffee and almost immediately was ready to order. I selected the Corned Beef and Brussels Hash (absolutely phenomenal and uber-tasty) and complimented it with a short stack of the Bourbon Street Pancakes which were equally as delectable !!! Mid-meal after being asked how the food was by my server, I was greeted by who I believe was the Head Chef and shared my appreciation of the dishes. I was full for nearly 2/3 of the day with a smile 😊. Thank you to everyone who made my visit spectacular. Not only would I recommend this location, but I will return and hopefully be able to catch my servers and chefs names. Much obliged 😊
Biggest issue is the food and coffee. Pancakes were very stodgy and not cooked in the middle. Tiny portions. Coffee tastes burnt and is unenjoyable. Saturday at peak brunch time and the restaurant has tons of empty tables. We were sat immediately but had to wait a while for anyone to take our drink order. Server was nice but barely saw them. Took our food and drink order. 15 min later we have our food but still no drinks. All the charm and quality was stripped from this place during Covid apparently. It was really good in 2019. They no longer have fun colors or cute dishware, decor is bland and cheap, and the food quality has consistently been terrible at every location in NC I’ve visited. Not worth the price at all. Also no noise dampening so it was very loud and hard to have a conversation.
We had brunch here to celebrate my son's graduation, and everything was wonderful. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making sure our group was comfortable and well taken care of. The food was fresh and flavorful, especially the chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and mimosas. The atmosphere was bright and lively, perfect for a special occasion. They helped make the celebration feel meaningful and stress-free, and we truly appreciated the experience.

Where brunch becomes a celebration with Southern-inspired flavors and a lively atmosphere.
