Today is January 23, 2026. I placed an order on May 12, 2025 and still have no received 2 of my nightstands and can not get any help getting the issue resolved. I have reached out to the in-store salesman I worked with and called several times and even did an online chat. I ordered over $30,000 worth of furniture with Ashley and have had horrible customer service and delivery. Not to mention that the delivery team that was supposed to be at my house at 9am for the delivery didn't show up until after 11pm and didn't get done unloading and setting up this $30K worth of furniture up until after 3am. The 2 guys that delivered the furniture were great BUT to show up at 11PM and stay until after 3AM, I took off work and waited around on them all day at our new house with the only form of communicate and updates was when I CALLED THEM to check on their whereabouts plus I had my 5 kids with me and then had to commute back to our old house a hour away at 3AM, ridiculous to say the least. Plus, they kept delaying my order from end of July until the beginning of August and then finally got a delivery at the end of August minus the 2 nightstands that I still have not received. Then I have continued to have a horrible experience trying to get the 2 nightstands I ordered and paid for by check in store, time of purchase they have still not been delivered or refunded nor has anymore from Ashley tried reaching out to me to get this issue resolved. I am highly disappointed and just want a full refund of the 2 nightstands I bought and still have not received. I know all customers are just as important but you would think if a customer spent over $30K with you then they would be made some type of priority. I am not one to leave reviews as we own a business ourselves and know things happen and I always want to show grace and that is why I didn't leave a review after the delivery issue in August and all the delays leading up to the delivery but now that 8 months have passed and I still have not received the 2 nightstands or a refund I figure this was my only way left of trying to get this issue resolved!!
My husband, son and I spent less than 5 min in the store. We were approached by an associate, who introduced himself as Rob (I believe was his name). He asked if he could help us find anything, and I replied, "no thank you, we are just looking. " His response was "does no one want to buy any furniture today?? You're like the tenth people to say that today. " Then he asked if we wanted to know where the "best" stuff was and started to lead us toward a section of the store, when I replied, "You know, I think we are good to just look around on our own." He turned around, rolled his eyes and said "okay." When my husband called him out on his bad attitude, he turned it around and said my husband had an attitude. When we come to shop, we like to look at all of our options. We do not want to be followed and badgered. We are capable of finding an associate if we have questions. I do not like to leave bad reviews, but that was very poor customer service.
I didn't even want to give 1 star but this would not post unless i did. They were quick to sell a great set of furniture but waited we for 7 weeks to get it and then the sofa was missing 2 cushions (middle back and end seat) and have yet to receive them. No one is quick to fix this issue. Also, the cushions we did receive were either on the floor of the truck or on the ground and were filthy - we did not notice this until they were long gone. Fortunately, the cushion covers were easily laundered but the fact that we paid $3000 for the living room set and were dirty was beyond disappointing added to the fact we can't get our missing cushions. Oh we'll get a response to call the corporate # to fix this but considering i have called that number NUMEROUS times and talked to MULTIPLE people, no one cand do a thing...but they sure could cash that $3000 check before we even left the store on Nov 7th.
I visited the Ashley store in August to upgrade from a queen to a king-size bed. I considered replacing my entire bedroom set but wasn’t sure. The salesperson was kind and patient, and I appreciated being able to take time to decide. I purchased a bed frame and a Tempur-Pedic mattress—which I love. Since I chose not to replace the whole bedroom set, I also ordered a new dinette set: a table, four chairs, and a bench. The in-store experience was great. Delivery came about three weeks later. The bed and mattress were perfect. But the dinette set had issues: one bench leg had a crack (looked like it had been dropped), two chairs had chips, and the table leg was scratched. I tried explaining this to the delivery drivers, but they didn’t seem to understand due to a language barrier. I called the store to ask whether I should refuse the entire dinette set or just the damaged items. They told me to refuse the whole set, so I agreed. Then one of the drivers handed me his phone without saying anything. On the line was a man who said he was the warehouse manager. I explained the damage, and he said he saw the photos but couldn’t clearly see the issues. I told him the store advised me to refuse the delivery. He insisted it wasn’t necessary and offered to send replacement parts instead. A woman joined the call and confirmed they’d ship a new table leg and deliver a new bench and chairs, installing the leg during that visit. They reassured me this was the best option, especially since I’d already gotten rid of my old dinette set. I reluctantly agreed. That was September 3. Fast forward to September 15—I hadn’t heard anything. I called the store but was routed to a call center. I spent over 36 minutes on the phone explaining everything. Sierra from the call center told me there were no replacement items being sent and no notes on my account about any of this. No record of the promises made. I was told they wouldn’t honor what the warehouse manager said and that I’d need to file a damage claim through a separate number. This was incredibly frustrating. If you're ordering furniture for delivery, inspect everything thoroughly. Take your own photos of any damage. Don’t rely on the delivery team. Refuse the entire delivery if anything is wrong. Do not sign for anything unless it’s 100% satisfactory. If the drivers call their supervisor, don’t accept any verbal promises—refuse the delivery. Once you sign on their device, you’re stuck. It’s unacceptable for a company to have delivery staff who can’t communicate, and even worse to have warehouse staff make promises they won’t honor. The man and woman I spoke to outright lied. Ashley claims calls are recorded—I hope they review mine and hear exactly what was promised just to get me to accept damaged items.
If I could give a zero I would. Went into the store on a Saturday it was completely empty. May I also state. I was not greeted, nor provided any type of assistance. 3-4 people (workers) standing around talking and ignored me entirely. However, another customer with a different appearance came in shortly after me, and he definitely was greeted and provided with assistance. I suppose I didn’t look like the average shopper. Needless to say, I had a whole different experience six years ago and hoped to return to furnish my new home with different furniture. Haverty's is right down the was way nicer and greeted me with a smile and Very knowledgeable of their products and WILLING to help. They may not have had the set I wanted but I found me a nice chair for now!! Ashley’s do better.. you certainly lost a customer here!
