I recently moved to Tampa and was so nervous to trust someone new with my hair, but I am so glad I found this place. I loved that they offer free consultations to really talk through what you want, and they were super transparent about pricing, which I really appreciated. Tiffany did my hair and she was absolutely amazing—so sweet, professional, and incredibly talented. I felt taken care of from start to finish, and my hair has honestly never looked better. I also loved that they have a system that notes everything about your appointment—your color, your cut, and all the details—so when you come back, you can get the exact same thing with no guesswork. Such an amazing feature. And not to mention, their new location is absolutely gorgeous 😍 Hands-down the best salon I’ve ever been to. I’ll definitely be coming back 💕✨
Such a great experience! The new location is so stunning - modern and very chic. There’s a big tv where you can watch runway shows while getting your hair washed which was a nice touch. Lots of space and was decorated very cute. My stylist Aurora was amazing! She did exactly what I wanted and was so easy to chat with. Overall, I loved every second and am so happy with my hair! Thank you!
I contacted this salon well in advance and was very clear about what I was looking for: a short pixie haircut and all-over platinum foils. I sent multiple photos, explained my current hair, and asked specifically if the stylist was comfortable with both services before booking. I was assured this would not be an issue and scheduled accordingly. I drove 20 minutes to my appointment, with an important event that weekend, only to be told in person that the stylist does not do pixie cuts and was not comfortable performing the all-over foils I had clearly requested. This was not a consultation issue — the stylist explicitly stated she does not do pixie cuts, which was obvious from the photos I had already sent. The salon later responded by saying they specialize in longer, lived-in looks, which raises the question of why an appointment was booked at all after reviewing my photos and request. This should have been addressed before scheduling and before I arrived. I respect a stylist’s honesty in not doing work they’re uncomfortable with — but the failure here was poor vetting, poor communication, and wasted time, especially given how clearly everything was explained in advance. If you have short hair, want a pixie cut, or need full platinum coverage, I strongly recommend confirming — in writing — that the stylist is experienced and confident in those services before booking.
Jess at Balayage Blonde is amazing. The consultation was super helpful and she really listened to what i wanted. The color came out perfect and exactly how I pictured. The service was top notch and she made the whole experience so easy and fun. I highly recommend this salon if you want beautiful hair and excellent service.
The first two attached photos are from one week after my color service with Morgan when I was sitting in another salon’s chair before getting it corrected. I waited 10 weeks for full color correction so as to not over-process the hair. The last two photos are after getting my hair color corrected at another salon 10 weeks later. I think the photos, all unfiltered, speak for themselves. I visited this salon for a color service with Morgan. While she was very kind and professional in demeanor, unfortunately, the service did not meet my expectations. There were several technical issues with the coloring, including uneven highlights, noticeable patches where the hair was not colored, and inconsistent blending. The results looked significantly different in natural lighting compared to how they appeared in the salon, and I ultimately had to seek corrective services at another salon. This was disappointing, especially given the price point ($325 before tip), which did not align with the quality of work I received. When I initially reached out to the salon to share my experience, they responded and acknowledged my concerns after I left a review. The follow-up conversations with the owner, Jess, felt somewhat defensive rather than fully focused on resolution. While she did offer potential solutions after the fact, I had already moved forward with corrections elsewhere. I believe Morgan has potential as a stylist but would benefit from further training and experience before handling more complex color services independently. I hope the salon continues to support their artists' growth and prioritize clear communication around artist experience levels to better match clients with the right stylist for their needs. I share this feedback sincerely in hopes it is helpful to both the salon and future clients.
