Bad pricing. I signed up for a choreo class, had a great time ($20). So I signed up for another class the next week ($20). When I got there, it was the exact same choreography as the last week. I stopped at the beginning (within the first five minutes) and explained I didn’t know it would be the exact same class again, and asked if I could just apply the ticket I bought to another class. They said no, because I would have needed to do it “before class started”, but there was ZERO notification or information during the ticket purchasing process that informed me it would be the EXACT same class. They charged $40 for one choreo without any process on their part to inform me that I was repurchasing the exact same class. **The concern is not that you do two of the same class. The concern is that Barrio does not communicate info about repeat classes to new members, and has 0 grace for Barrio's poor communication. Good studios are transparent with their class offerings, communicative to new members, and understand that if a person wanted to sign up for a repeat intro class they'd do so willingly.

The choreos are well taught and there's a wide vareity of dance styles to choose from. Instructors focus on also teaching technique that you can apply to any dance aside from the moves itself, which I love!

Excellent all the way through. Pretty standard but good.

I haven't been in a dance class since I was a kid so I was a little bit nervous for my first class. I have found the environment to be extremely welcoming. The instructors are kind and supportive and I have found the people in my class are the same way. If you're thinking about trying dance here, do it!!!
