The choreos are well taught and there's a wide vareity of dance styles to choose from. Instructors focus on also teaching technique that you can apply to any dance aside from the moves itself, which I love!

I haven't been in a dance class since I was a kid so I was a little bit nervous for my first class. I have found the environment to be extremely welcoming. The instructors are kind and supportive and I have found the people in my class are the same way. If you're thinking about trying dance here, do it!!!

Barrio is AMAZING!!!!I can’t thank AJ, Nicole and the rest of the barrio squad enough for an incredible private party we had at their studio! We were dancing this routine all weekend long for my bachelorette party LOL. Everyone is obsessed and i have a feeling you’ll be seeing us all again soon 😁

Such a fun and welcoming environment! I love making it to classes at Barrio when I can and they always brighten my day. The staff and instructors are always incredibly kind and welcoming. The classes are truly accessible and I always feel comfortable. I would highly recommend Barrio to anyone in the Madison area looking for an incredible dance experience! It’s a great community and there’s something for everyone.

I came to Barrio as a beginner and was a little nervous at first. The environment, instructors, and other dancers were incredibly welcoming and supportive. This is a really special, non-judgmental, creative learning space that enthusiastically welcomes everyone, all ages and levels. I recommend it frequently to friends who want to try something new, learn a new skill, get a work-out, or find a creative outlet. Regular attendees and the instructors learned my name right away. Instructors are also incredibly mindful of when to give support and offer extra encouragement. I go to Barrio when I've got a lot on my mind, and I leave feeling better every time.
