Drove 40 miles each direction on the advice of a best buy customer service agent online. Was told that my product needed inspect by a member of GeekSquad in person and on site. Arrived and was told they no longer do anything at the store and it is all handled by a 3rd party. Would take 2-4 weeks to send it out and get a diagnosis. At which point I would then get to learn how much it would cost to fix. Didn't matter that I knew what was wrong, they couldn't give a quote. Refused to even guess but said it would be more than $100 at least so I could go from there. Asked if they had a more practicle solution for the issue, considering a joystick on my Asus ROG Ally just needed replaced. Nope, wouldn't even entertain it. Asked if a manager might have a better solution. Was told nope, they wouldn't even call one over to discuss it. I also want to note that not only did the "agent" never even look at the ROG Ally, they didn't even open the box. No interest in diagnosing the problem. You must no longer need any qualifications to work behind that counter. No wonder Best Buy is going out of business. I'll just fix it myself at this point and be sure not to buy products from them moving forward, because honestly, they're customer service is a joke. I'll add that I used to work there 20 years ago and they are so far from where they once were, which was already pretty low, that it is hilariously pathetic. Follow Up Edit: Reached out to Best Buy on Facebook and as expected they were all but useless. I get the feeling that they follow up to these reviews only to make it seem as if they care. News Flash: They don't. I've got plenty of places I can buy at elsewhere, so at this point I'll stop giving Best Buy any business, because their business model is no longer good service, it's to get as much for the board of directors as possible while screwing their customers in the process.
Had some work done by Installer Eric on my car and couldn't be happier. Extremely patient with my older self noticing I am not the most tech savvy. Great experience, Best Buy is lucky to have such an outstanding you man there. A+
I had an issue when ordering a Graphics Card that started with online Best Buy and left me pretty frustrated overall. I was honestly close to giving up on Best Buy entirely as I don't do well with companies having bad service. Ask the poor Amazon customer service people I've talked too... haha! The manager at the Jordan Creek location made me still enjoy shopping with them and want to continue going there for all my needs. He was super friendly, easy to work with, actually listened, and went out of his way to help fix a situation that wasn’t his fault. He made things right and handled everything in a way that felt genuinely fair and respectful. This store and its management are the main reason I continue to shop at Best Buy and why I’ve stopped buying tech from Amazon. If you want to deal with real people who actually care and want to help, I can’t recommend this location enough. This is a great example of how customer service should be done.
Good Shopping Experience at Best Buy As always, Best Buy remains an excellent store offering the latest technology and a great variety of products. I recently purchased a printer and received very courteous and professional service from the in-store staff. However, the next day I tried to contact the store by phone because I had accidentally left my wallet there, and it was impossible to reach them. It would be great if they could improve their phone assistance for urgent situations or lost items. Overall, it was a positive shopping experience, and I’ll continue trusting Best Buy for my future tech purchases. 💻📱🖨️
I recently popped into Best Buy twice in order to swap my Sodastream gas canisters. They allow you to bring in your empty one and purchase a new one at a discounted amount. The store also has a variety of electronics and accessories. There is also a Toys section. The staff are all very friendly and it’s a pleasure stopping in.
