I am a florist myself and am disgusted with BLOOMEX. My family ordered a rose and lily basket for $200+(pictured left below) and what was received is the picture on the right. I have to warn people…DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY…they rip you off. WILL ONLY ORDER FROM A LOCAL FLOWERSHOP IN THE FUTURE.
I am beyond disappointed with this service. I paid $250 for a specific order that was missed on every level. I ordered plants; I received wilted flowers. I ordered a variety of teas; I received one brand (Bloomex brand) that tasted like water. Most shockingly, the "fresh" fruit bowl arrived rotted and inedible. Beyond the poor quality, the delivery was three days late, missing the intended occasion entirely. After researching on Reddit and other review sites, l've realized this is a systemic issue with this company, not a one-off mistake. When I contacted customer service, they refused a refund to my original payment method and only offered store credit. I will be pursuing a chargeback through my credit card. Save your money and go with a reputable local florist instead.
I had four different orders to four different addresses, which went quite smoothly until… The baskets that I sent were 3 gourmet baskets and one with beer and nuts. The so-called gourmet baskets were a joke! Repeat items, stale items, and not the quantity of items that were supposed to be in the basket. I was not impressed and neither were my recipients. This was a Christmas gift and it ended up being a joke,a total waste of money! I did send a message with my concern about my orders and I have yet to hear back from the company. I would not suggest using this company at this time of year. The quality is terrible.
I don't write online reviews about terrible service ever. But this experience was so bad that I feel I need to warn people. I was completely ripped off. I paid 75$ for a bouquet, bloomex had a photo of the arrangement their website. A very dear close friend of mine's mother passed so the arrangement ment alot to me. The arrangement that arrived had three red roses and one Carnation and a spray of babies breath in a red vase! Something you might send for Valentine's day? The one I ordered had fall colours orange and yellow flowers in a vase not a red one. I also paid for same day delivery it took four days. I also added a sympathy card that they offered as a service so they know it was a sympathy bouquet. I sent them photos of what I ordered and what arrived at my friend's house thinking it must have been an error. I asked why a Valentine's arrangement was sent instead of the one I ordered? Also and how can they charge 49$ for four flowers? Thinking this must be a mistake. They basically have said well this falls in line with our policy regarding replacement orders if needed. And offered a Instore credit of 20$. I feel I was ripped off. And not taken care of I should have a credit on my credit card and they are advertising bouquets that do not actually get delivered. If I could I would give 0 starts! This company has No customer Service, they rip you off, and they refuse to take accountability! I ordered a birthday gift bundle that was supposed to come with Flowers, A ceramic mug, a balloon, a full birthday card, chocolate, and a teddy bear. They charged me the amount, the website asks for an email to send you updates, I also supplied my phone number, however I got NO updates, no tracking, nothing. When they finally made the delivery All that my sister received was the flowers a balloon and a small post-it note! That is 2 1/2 of the 6 items. When I reached out they told me the area I ordered for could not supply the items, which they SHOULD have told me prior to sending. Instead they said nothing until I complained. They then refused a refund for the missing items, and offered a credit. AS IF I would EVER trust this scam of a company in the future! I will be placing a complaint to the Consumer Affairs Office as well as the Better Business Bureau. This is False Advertising and Theft. You can NOT charge for something, take payment in full and not supply what was paid for. That is literally a SCAM and ILLEGAL. I recommend that everyone report this company for false advertising to the BBB and the Consumer Protection Canada office for their province. Bloomex Policy states items that can not be filled will be replaced with items of equal or greater value. Which did not happen, nor will they issue refund. Don't Advertise things you can not Supply, make it clear WHERE you can deliver what products to, and communicate with the client BEFORE making changes or if something is unavailable. Those are simple concepts any business should abide by.
