Just an awful experience here at Cedars Sinai “urgent” care on Wilshire Blvd. My vitals were taken 90 minutes ago and no doctor has ever shown up! No wonder this place gets so many 1 star reviews
Worst place they taking the time you can hear them., laughing and talking and not working. And people are sitting in the waiting room for hours and then taking you in the room and let a person wait there more few hours. If the person comes sick leave in worse condition. When they taking patients. They have to tell them upfront. The wait is 4 to 5 hours not 11/2 hours Very unprofessional. Even 1 star it's to much
Cedars-Sinai Urgent Care is VERY Fantastic and SO CARING and the Doctors that saw me was MOST INCREDIBLE, almost angelic. Thanks to the Doctor’s care, I am going to the Hematologist and Cancer Center, my other Primary Care Doctor has sending me now to a Cancer Institute tomorrow for a “large blood cell”. I believe the Urgent Care Doctor was Dr. Hu, it was on a Sunday afternoon. This was Incredibly Surprising and Refreshing that someone was SO Knowledgeable, Honest and Care. Everyone was SO Extremely Kind, I only waited less than 5 minutes. Everyone had a huge heart and kind. Very Professional and I Sent my BEST to that Urgent Care Doctor & The Lovely people at Urgent Care ❤️☮️
I was praying that I would not have to see Dr. Violano again in this building. My prayers were answered. I was seen by P.A. Catherine Barth, who is amazing. She paid close attention to my description of the pain, did not waste time, asked all the right questions, and located the source. I forgot to speak with the front desk about a referral to an Orthopedic Surgeon before leaving. Catherine noticed this and called me with the information. She is a rare jewel.
UPDATE: I have reached out every single day for the last 3 weeks since I was NOT TREATED when I went in on Mon 06 Oct. I have been told management will contact me back EVERY SINGLE TIME I reach out, NO ONE has gotten back to me. Management is ALWAYS in a meeting when I call, regardless of the time of day I call at. I WANT MY COPAY REFUNDED - no one is returning my calls and no one is refunding my Co-Pay back, despite my calling EVERY SINGLE DAY and filing MULTIPLE complaints. THIS HOSPITAL AND URGENT CARE IS A JOKE - NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE PATIENTS AT ALL AND NO ONE IS RETURNING MY CALLS. NO ONE IN MANAGEMENT HAS EVEN ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT ME IN ANY CAPACITY, DESPITE MY CALLING EVERY SINGLE DAY. Please Note: while this Urgent Care urged me to reach out about my issue, let me absolutely clear: I did. I literally paid $30 to receive the equivalent of 1 Extra Strength Benedryl pill - which I could have bought two packages of Benedryl with that $30 and not wasted my time. It is 3 days later and I am still having the same severe allergic reaction with full on hives, a runny red eye, and a sore throat with no voice. There is absolutely no excuse for the behavior of the doctor and her 2 attending nurses. They are the worst. Will never ever go here again. Was treated terribly by the doctor and the nurses who did my intake. The nurse who checked me in and the one who gave me some allergy medication were lovely but the doctors and other nurses did not take my allergy or my allergic reaction seriously at all. They had me wait almost an hour while having an allergic reaction because they thought it wasn’t severe and were hoping it would "go down" - something that has never happened, EVER, when I have an allergic reaction. This treatment was also highly unusual, as most doctors take an allergic reaction seriously. As they should!!!! Even though they thought it was not severe, it actually was - severe enough that I almost took my EpiPen, but since my insurance is about to run out, I did not want to risk using an EpiPen I could not replace. They also did not want to give me medication as they were afraid I had driven myself, even though I arrived with my fiancé, and he clearly had driven me and was waiting in the waiting room to drive me home. When they finally did give me medication, it was the absolute bare minimum and hardly helped - I should have taken my EpiPen and gone to the ER instead. Absolutely awful - I only went here because my usual Urgent Care (Rapid Doc) was closed and it was late at night. Save yourself the trouble and go to the ER instead, at least at the ER they will take your health issues seriously. UNLIKE HERE.
