Had an amazing experience with Nicolas! I came in after reading the over rave reviews and still was thoroughly impressed! As an English only speaker, Nicolas spoke English to me the entire time and we bonded over snowboarding, Battlefield and I learnt a lot about Quebec City itself! He also gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had and the best beard trim ever! Will definitely be back if I'm ever in Quebec City, ideally for a haircut but I'd not just to look around the vintage store they run as well!!

Got my haircut by Nick. He was super friendly and patient while I practiced my French (I’m an English speaker), and he gave me a great cut. 10/10 recommend!

Absolutely loved my experience here while visiting Quebec City! I got a haircut from Fred, who’s not only an amazing barber but also the owner of the shop. The vibes were immaculate — relaxed, stylish, and full of character. What really stood out was the unique mix of vintage and modern: from authentically vintage barber chairs (the one I sat on has been functional for over 100 years!) to the awesome collection of thrift clothing and accessories on sale. You can tell Fred has poured his passion into every corner of the space. Highly recommend stopping by — whether you need a fresh cut or just want to soak in the atmosphere!

Best experience at a barber I’ve had in Quebec. I’ve lived here over a year and have been searching for a spot like this. The vibes are welcoming and the cut was quality too. Fred was my barber and he was great! Also one of those places in Quebec where you don’t feel bad for being an English speaker. 100% my go to spot moving forward!

And here I was, wandering along the street and viola, went into Chez Fred for a look see and ended up having a wet shave. Thoroughly enjoyed it, good chat with my Barber and they also have a great range of recycled items for sale. All in all great experience so get yourself down and say "bonjour" 👍
