Chubby Fingers was great for my daughter’s 1-year birthday party (dohl). They were accommodating and worked out room for us in their schedule, created a kid-friendly dish for us and the food was beautifully prepared and on time. I appreciated how professional they were in making sure they had room for our party order and delivery. I even froze their left over pork bosom and it covered a couple more family meals afterwards. 👍🏼 Multiple guests complemented our party food and we recommended Chubby Fingers. Melissa is also lovely to work with!

From the first email exchange with Melissa to the tasting and the big day itself, Chubby Fingers absolutely blew us away. The team was personable, professional, and so trustworthy with both their taste and execution. Let me just say—this was hands down the best wedding food we’ve ever had (and we’re not the only ones who think so)! Multiple guests came up to us raving that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had, and it totally elevated everyone’s mood. The setup was beautiful, the flavors were clean yet bold, and everything had their signature twist that made it feel special. Still dreaming about those smashed sweet potatoes—they fancied them up in a way I didn’t know sweet potatoes could be! Every dish felt like a creative, thoughtful upgrade of something familiar and comforting. Here’s what we got: Appetizers (passed with trays) • Yuzu soba pouch • Korean fried chicken bite • Salmon poke crisps (add-on) Entrée (buffet + live action station) • Chubs Bossam Salad (buffet) • Yuzu tomato salad (we added burrata—do it!) Great food was the absolute top priority for our wedding, and Chubby Fingers DELIVERED. Quotes from our guests included: "This was the best wedding dinner I've ever had." (multiple people!) "Give me galbi jjim and dak galbi over grilled salmon and chicken any day of my life. I'm so happy." "I could barely dance I was so full from dinner." "The vegan option usually sucks, but the bibimbap was SO GOOD." The quality, taste, volume, and presentation of food was A++ and absolutely worth the cost. (Photos attached are from our tasting) I still think about the yuzu tomato salad. Every single one of our appetizers was a hit (kimchi fried rice arancinis, bao buns, and yubu soba pouches). It's solid, classic Korean food with delicious twists, not watered-down, bland fusion food. Their staff were kind and professional, preparing plates for us to make sure we didn't miss out on our own wedding appetizers and meal. Melissa was so helpful with adjustments and details, like adding kimchi, switching to gluten-free gochujang to accommodate our guests with dietary restrictions, and preparing for a family-style meal. Start to finish, the whole team was great to work with and it was a smooth process. It was important for us to support a local Korean-American small business, and we'll definitely be coming back to Chubby Fingers again for our next big party!

I highly recommend Chubby Fingers to anyone planning a special event! The owners are super kind and wonderful to work with. The food was somehow even more delicious than it looked. Their menu is varied and allows diverse options for many different dietary restrictions. The food items were flavorful and not too heavy, so guests were able to try lots of dishes. We didn’t have any leftovers after my wedding since all the guests wanted to take some food home with them! Their pricing is also very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. I can’t recommend these guys enough!

I was on a search for the perfect lunch boxes for a corporate press event. They needed to taste fantastic, look awesome, and professionally presented. Chubby Fingers fulfilled all of these and went beyond our team’s expectations. I received so many compliments from Chub’s catered lunch with their first order, so we HAD to order again for the next one. The guests were expecting Chub’s. To begin with, the menu selection is as sophisticated as it can be. I’ve hosted events with meals at various venues, including a 5-star hotel, and never seen Chub’s unique and various selections. The best part is the uniqueness. Many of them are Asian fusion in Chub’s own recipe, greatly balanced to satisfy everyone’s pallets: Those, who were familiar with the dish, were surprised how different and leveled-up it was, and those who were not were enjoying exploring each piece of arts. Another thing that makes Chub’s stand out is the taste. Chef Daniel puts ample fresh ingredients in each dish. With his special sauces and cooking techniques, plus these carefully selected ingredients combined, every bite is full of flavors. All these are presented in a high-end-craft-looking lunch box case individually. Also, Chub’s brought in warmers to keep these foods warm so that each guest could enjoy the meal at its best. I want to thank Melissa for managing and accommodating our needs to every detail and Chef Daniel for the suggestions and putting everything together on point. I would recommend Chubby Fingers to any catering needed occasions as I am sure people will appreciate – whether they are the host or the guest.
