I worked with Joe for coordination help in the month leading up to our wedding. Joe made what can be the most stressful time smooth, he was quick to give helpful advice and swift responses to all of my emails and texts. I have a big family, and my husband and I had large wedding parties. Joe kept everything running on schedule, coordinated all of the vendors - and enabled me (and my family) to be able to completely focus on enjoying the wedding day. I didn’t need to look at my phone once! I wasn’t sure if a coordinator was a wedding “need” but it was absolutely the right call for us! Joe has great taste and it was nice to be able to describe what I was looking for in general, and leave some of the minutia to his discretion (sign placement, timeline for toasts, etc). I highly recommend working with Joe and his team!!
Joe & the team at contagious events were incredible from the very beginning of the planning process through the wedding day! Joe kept us on track as we planned and helped us choose from vendors that fit our style and vision for the day. His team was very hard at work the day of the wedding, running around in the background and making sure everything went smoothly (which it did!). THE BEST EVER!!! When planning our wedding, from the very beginning we had a strong vision of a cocktail style reception with a focus on showing our guests an amazing time and ditching as many of the typical wedding day timeline & traditions as we could get away with - but no clue on how to pull it off. I hired the majority of my vendors but then hit a point of “what do I do now” which led to me seek out a planner. From my first call with Joe I just knew he was the planner to work with. Not only did he completely understand my vision he had so many suggestions on how to keep the night flowing smoothly as well as design and entertainment elements to enhance what we had already thought of. Not only did he have great ideas but he could speak from experience having planned multiple events with a similar format. Joe’s professionalism, organization and sense of ease kept me calm and confident throughout a year of planning and I always knew I could count on reaching him when needed and getting his guidance and advice through every decision big and small along the way - whether it was negotiating contracts, pricing out the menu, or guiding us on the best possible way to execute every last thought and idea. As confident as I was throughout the planning process, nothing could have prepared me for the absolute magic that Joe and his team pulled off on wedding day. To say I was blown away would be an understatement! With all of the planning logistics I definitely hit decision fatigue by the time it came to design details, and decided to just fully trust my amazing team of vendors to do their thing, with Joe leading it all behind the scenes - my best planning decision after hiring Contagious! The room reveal on the night of our wedding reception was the highlight of the day and brought our entire family to tears! Since our wedding format was a bit atypical, we definitely had some skeptical guests not knowing exactly what to expect - “what do you mean no assigned seating!!?”. Safe to say with Joe leading the show everything went smoothly, our guests had an amazing time, our families were blown away and we had the time of our lives without having to worry about a single thing other than living in the moment and toasting at midnight! Thank you Joe, Gail and the rest of the contagious team! Hire them to plan your wedding or any event for that matter, you will not regret it!
I have been a wedding photographer for 10 years and Joe and his team at Contagious Events are one of the few planners I have truly enjoyed working with. I appreciate that they are all about creating unique and memorable events tailored to the personalities of their clients. If you are looking for a wedding that is more than the typical formula, something your guests will be talking about for years to come, consider hiring Joe and team!
Joe and Contagious Events were worth every penny! The whole team went above and beyond in making our special day possible. Couples use the Contagious wedding portal to track guest count, obtain vendor suggestions, and update financial spreadsheets. Additionally, the portal has a monthly tracker for couples to check off completed tasks. It makes the whole planning process so much easier to handle when you have all the information in one place, and broken down into easily digestible bullets. Joe also sets up monthly meetings to keep us up to date and on track with the planning process. Before I conclude, I also have to mention how absolutely helpful Joe was during Covid. Like so many couples, we had to reschedule our planned wedding in 2020 due to the pandemic. It was incredibly stressful and disheartening experience, but Joe really took a huge burden off of us when he reached out to all our vendors and ensured we were able to reschedule without hassle. That alone was worth every penny we paid. Joe is amiable, professional, organized and gave us great wedding advice! His assistance truly lifted such a burden off of my (now) husband and my plate during the hectic and stressful wedding planning process. Hiring the Contagious team was the best investment in our wedding we made! 5/5 stars!
