In all my decades of owning a car, this was one of the worst experiences at a mechanic. I went there a few times and it just kept getting worse. Very expensive. Also, recommending repairs my other mechanics told me were not necessary!!! The Frank Zappa song Flakes comes to mind. No need to try to contact me. I won't delete my post. I will not respond to any attempt to regain our trust. Our money will not be spent at this business in the future. You get one star for the free ice cold bottled water in the lobby and a clean bathroom. That's it. Update- As of January 2026 our car is still on the road today- thanks to our New honest mechanics- not these people. No obsolete parts. No failed emissions. Avoid Convoy Auto Repair.
I think 4/5 is a fair review. While I have no issue with the repairs - I do feel slightly taken advantage of price-wise. I took my truck in and told them that I had done an OBD-II scan that said the check engine was due to LIN bus disconnect. A simple Google regarding that fault 99% points to an issue with the active grill shutter assembly. Ok so I take it in with that info, and still get a $170 diagnostic fee to tell me it was just that... Then the part on the receipt doesn't say what brand my new shutter assembly is, it just says $600+ looking around the Internet the highest price I see for one is $360. Making that a 75% markup. Labor, I'm not going to dispute this, charge whatever it's your business. In total though this cost me $1250+ Did they solve the issue, yes. That's what matters - however there are a plethora of auto shops right, so the difference between being a repeat customer for life or shopping around next time can hinge on price transparency and honesty. Which I felt was a little lacking and thus I think 4/5 stars is a fair and honest review.
Kind and efficient staff! Great service 😊 On a misty night after a long day at work I put ”Bio Fuel” aka diesel 😭 in my Toyota Sequoia. Roman was so supportive and the price was to flush the diesel out was reasonable. They’ve helped us in the past too with our BMW. Everytime we’ve left as happy customers.
I took my Jeep Wrangler in for service on my suspension and steering. Joe did a great job explaining the issues with my vehicle in a way I can understand. Patrick, the technician did an excellent job by the looks of the repairs I can see and how my vehicle now drives. I highly recommend Convoy Auto Repair, their professionalism and overall establishment presentation was impressive and in my opinion, set the standard for how an auto repair shop should be.
I want to give a 5 STAR appreciation for Roman. I came in with my 2007 Mustang Gt, which had a COUPLE of REAL ANNOYING PROBLEMS. 1.My climate control actuators making a clicking knocking noise. 2. The gas gauge NOT WORKING issue. I had NEVER used this shop before. I always used the dealer in the past, out of just not knowing or trusting a shop. Which of course always costs more. Roman was very attentive to my needs and kept me informed during the entire process which i thought was quite surprising. I didn't even have to call. He was already on it. He also sent me a video of one of my rear shocks..on my Mustang. It was leaking fluid. I had that problem on one of my earlier Mustangs. He also took the time to show me the old parts of the gas gauge issue of what they looked like and the function of each..and what contributory part in which it played for the gas gauge failing to read correctly. The staff i came across were pretty friendly also. Customer service is a big thing to me in this business. People want the assurance of leaving the car with a knowledgeable repair shop to take care of their mechanical issues. Everything is much better now. Thank you.
