We have a 2002 Hot Springs Sovereign hot tub and recently replaced the cover for the first time. Mind you, this is a 23 year old hot tub. The people that Creative Energy had sent out not only removed the old, sun rotted cover and installed the new one, they did repairs to secure the lose exterior side panels of our hot tub to make it like new! Upon refilling the hot tub, which had been dry for the past 5 years, we discovered that the exterior control panel buttons for for turning on the jets, lights, and adjusting the temperature where not working, the moto massage jet was no longer sweeping up and down, and I thought we had a slow leak. (Turns out, no leak, just a loose drain plug I failed to secure with the O-ring inside the cap and a slow leak inside the main access panel seemed to stop on its own. Once the system fully heated up, it sealed the slow drip I had found.) I had texted Wesley at Creative Energy's Service Department photos of our hot tub and described the issues we were having. Later, I spoke to Wesley over the phone to discuss the possible issues and to arrange a service appt. Wesley was fantastic! He clearly explained the upfront cost and told us what to expect from our service technician, Omar, who would be coming out to our home to diagnose problems and carry out repairs. Wesley had completely briefed Omar on all the possible issues that were a concerned for us. We wanted the control panel repaired, any leaks sealed, and for Omar to check for any possible problems/issues that should be address....full health check up on our 23 year old hot tub. Omar texted and called me on the day that he was coming out to our home to let us know when to expect him to arrive. My wife and I were both at work when Omar arrived. Omar called me to let me know what he had found on our hot tub...walking me through the steps he was taking to diagnose the issues with the hot tub. He tried to see if there was a way to get our existing control panel to work vs. replacing it, but the buttons were worn out and the panel needed to be replaced....23 yr old, so no surprise. He then informed me that the Moto Massage Jet air tube had simply worn out over time and needed to be replaced. Omar then outlined the cost of each component to be replaced and asked for my authorization to proceed with the work, which I approved of. About 30 minutes later, I received another phone call from Omar informing me that all of the work had been completed, had not found any leaks, or other issues and that the hot tub was working fine now. Honestly, I was shocked how fast Omar had completed the work...all within the initial estimated time that Wesley had quoted me when we first spoke! A few days later, I received an email detailing the cost of the labor and parts, that had been charged onto my credit card, with my authorization. In a day and age where people are quick to complain about service, I thought it was important to highlight and example of great customer service and to point out how well our Hot Springs hot tub has served us over the decades.
