I needed to get my dog out of the house for some stimutation since the weather hasn’t been great. We enjoyed the hay room. I added on their scent boxes, which she took to. James was a delight to talk with and my dog loved him. I highly recommend for some doggie play time.
I really enjoyed visiting their new facility it has a great little store front and their training areas are spacious and creative!! Their boarding facility is adorable and great for the animals they care for! They have such an attention for detail and really care about the comfort of the animals they care for and train!! My daughter has been using the training advice provided with great success.
$2,203 Paid - Same-Day Cancellations for 6 Months - No Refund Provided - BBB Complaint Filed I paid this business $2,203 total across multiple training packages between April-October 2025. In my experience, they cancelled sessions repeatedly with same-day and last-minute notice over 6+ months. CANCELLATIONS I EXPERIENCED: July 26: Called same morning to cancel our 10 AM appointment. Email confirmation received at 10:21 AM - 21 minutes after our scheduled start time August 8: Day-before cancellation. Email stated cancellation was "for the safety and comfort of Kona" September 13: The trainer told me she was unprepared for the session. In my opinion, the session did not provide the value I paid for November 7: Same-day cancellation with less than 8 hours notice. Voicemail stated trainer needed "a little bit of time to recover from something that happened earlier in the week" WE GAVE THEM ANOTHER CHANCE: Before purchasing the final package, my wife and I spoke with the owner about these cancellations. The owner stated she had experienced serious health issues and apologized. Based on this conversation, we decided to give them another chance and paid $630 for a 4-session package on October 28, 2025. FINAL PACKAGE: We received one session from that $630 package before the November 7 cancellation described above. REFUND REQUEST: November 10: I requested a $630 refund for the undelivered sessions November 11: Staff cited "non-refundable policy" November 18: I sent a written request for $630 refund with deadline of 5 PM November 19, stating any response other than refund confirmation would be considered a refusal November 18: Owner responded. Her email stated "unmet expectations can cause really challenging feelings" and included her attorney on CC. She referenced "legally protected sick-day" - I'm not her employer, I'm a customer who paid for services - and requested I "setup a meeting" to "collaborate on equitable solution" November 19, 5 PM: Deadline passed with no refund provided DIFFERENT STANDARDS: Their service agreement states 72-hour cancellation notice requirement. The one time we needed to reschedule (our baby and childcare provider were both sick), we provided 54 hours notice via email. Owner's response email stated: "That's why we made an exception for your own rescheduling needs despite it not being a medical emergency." MY EXPERIENCE: In my opinion, this was the most unprofessional business experience I've had. When you consider the $2,203 total we paid for 12 sessions, it cost us over $180 per session - I expected far better organization and accountability at that price point. BBB COMPLAINT: I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on November 19, 2025 regarding this matter. I will update this review after the BBB complaint process is concluded. DOCUMENTATION: I have retained all payment receipts, email correspondence, voicemail records, and service agreements related to these transactions. READ THE OTHER REVIEWS: Multiple customers on both Google and Yelp describe strikingly similar experiences - repeated cancellations blamed on health issues (including anaphylaxis mentioned by other reviewers), refund requests denied, being asked to "meet" instead of receiving resolution, and the same patterns of last-minute cancellations. In my view, this is not an isolated incident. The consistency across multiple independent customer reviews spanning multiple years suggests (in my opinion) a systematic business practice rather than unfortunate coincidence. This was my experience. I gave them multiple opportunities to make it right.
We did some training with Marie and she was absolutely wonderful. I really enjoyed the whole space and everything they have to offer. I have no complaints at all!
I can honestly not say enough good things about Daack Pack. The environment is welcoming and the staff absolutely delightful. The overall vibe is amazing and warm. I brought my cat in for agility training and other enrichment opportunities. He was nervous at first, but the staff immediately took notice and worked to make him feel safe. The facility staff sat with him and gave him attention until the trainer, Allison, was ready to work with him. The little guy took to Allison immediately. After just moments I could see that Allison was experienced and had true passion for animals. It wasn't long before he was following instructions like he had been doing it for months. I was completely floored. He seemed to be having so much fun and definitely enjoyed all the attention from Allison and the staff. Allison, like the rest of their team, has a true love for animals that comes out in the training and interactions. I felt my little guy was safe in this space and would enjoy coming back. It was a true pleasure to work with Allison and the facility staff. I will be buying all my animal supplies from Daack Pack from now on and plan to bring my little buddy back for more agility sessions. I would also like to give a shout out to Adrien at the front desk. Adrien was absolutely amazing and truly welcoming. Adrien truly cared about my cat's experience at Daack Pack. It was an absolutely fantastic experience. Thank you Daack Pack
