We chose “Events by Rebs” through our venue, the Honeysuckle Tea House. The most valuable part of working together was how seamlessly Rebecca stayed in tune with our planning, our needs, and every detail we didn’t even know to think about. Rebecca was an invaluable guide to the local vendor landscape throughout the planning process, helping us understand pricing, compare services, and choose partners whose strengths aligned with our vision while keeping costs within our budget. She also helped us understand the different implications of our decisions and arrive to a final decision confidently and happily. Personable with a great sense of humor and empathy, Rebecca is a stellar planner - she'll make sure you are considering the big picture and finer details to make your day special, unique, and what you want it to be. Our celebration genuinely exceeded our most ambitious expectations thanks in large part to her steady guidance. Rebecca and her team were both wonderfully present and perfectly discreet on the wedding day itself: they were the connective tissue that helped every guest and every moment transition effortlessly, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the flow of the day. They were practical and charming in equal measure (at one point even producing umbrellas out of nowhere during a surprise rain shower) which made every element feel cared for and intentional. No task was too great or too small for Rebecca, from last-minute fixes for wedding-dress snafus right before the ceremony to gracefully managing the full range of emotions, expectations, and anxieties of the bride and groom to parents to the entire wedding party. She was a great advocate for our vision, supportive to us and our nearest and dearest, and our families really respected her approach and enjoyed working with her too! On our wedding day, she and her team handled everything and cared for everyone while letting us stay immersed in our moment. She and her team did a fantastic job handling all coordination of vendors and our unique asks (family friend providing the cake, wedding party photos before the ceremony, coordinating our witnesses and ensuring paperwork was compliant, etc.) - so we didn't even have to think about it. It meant we as a couple could focus on spending time with our guest, with each other, and enjoy the spontaneous moments without any thought about table settings, food, or admin. If you’re on the fence about hiring Rebecca and her team, don’t be. Rebecca and her team are everything you want and need from a wedding planning partner: she’s transparent about the finer details without ever overwhelming you, offers exactly the information you need for a successful wedding, leverages her expertise to help your vision for your special day come to life, and is deeply plugged into the community with vendor connections that make the whole experience seamless. From our very first call, Rebecca was a total joy to work with—kind, professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient (especially with me, a very “I don’t know” kind of bride!). Although I don’t remember the exact package we booked, we had a couple of calls leading up to the big day, and in the month before, we did a venue walkthrough and a full rehearsal with Rebecca. Each time we spoke, she brought so much clarity and calm to the planning process. She thought of things I never would have and helped us plan every little detail, even when I showed up the day before the wedding with way more decor than either of us expected—she handled it all with grace and good humor! On the wedding day itself, Rebecca and her team were amazing. They kept everything running smoothly and made sure we could truly relax and enjoy every moment. I’m so incredibly grateful for their hard work, flexibility, and dedication. Our day was beautiful and seamless because of them. If you're on the fence—don’t be! We hired Rebecca and her team as part of the Honeysuckle Tea House wedding package and we couldn’t be happier we made the choice to have a wedding coordinator. Yes, we were trying to save money where we could because weddings are expensive, but this was the one expense that was worth every penny. She helped us tremendously the month leading up to the wedding and the bulk of her efforts were certainly seen the day of. I didn’t have to think about anything, I just showed up to my wedding and everything was taken care of, from handling family members, managing vendors and set up, directing family portraits, and making sure we had everything at the end of the night. I’m sure there was a lot more she did, but things went so smoothly I didn’t even have to be aware of them. A big plus was how well we got along with her and how she really understood our needs. We love Rebecca and her team!
