Wow! What an absolute blessing from God this place is! I am a survivor of domestic violence and I am permanently disabled from it. I rescued two twin cats, bro “Baby J” and sis “Sissy” …sadly my boy has been not feeling well the last few days and I literally have nothing left after paying my bills this month. I thought he had a urinary blockage and was getting septic. I rushed over this morning and was greeted by the beautiful, and soft spoken Shannon. Instant calmness came over be. They assured me they would do everything they could do for my baby. They took him back and made sure he was stable enough to wait for his turn. We were in the waiting room 3 hours but it wasn’t even bad! The place is so well run and clean as a whistle! I saw them mop when I was there and clean every room after each pet. I met the incredible, wise and precious volunteer Lucy, she is 81 as has the soul of a young woman. She gave me great advice and was a beckon is relaxing all the anxious pet parents. The manager Yvonne was also so gentle and sweet to me, reassuring me that I was in the right place. I went in and saw Dr. James and her amazing vet tech with a really cool crotchet hat (sadly I did not get her name but hopefully you will know who I’m talking about!) Dr James was extremely thorough and is so good with every pet. Baby J has a UTI and some other issues with his bum that needed extracting and he is feeling sooo much better after that. He was completely at ease with the staff. They helped me financially sending us home with antibiotics, pain medicine, dewormer and very clear directions. I wasn’t shamed once for my situation even though I felt so bad having pets that I couldn’t provide for in case of emergency. Now that I have found EveryPet my anxiety is gone and I feel like I can afford and have a team behind us in any situation with my twins. I love yall and praying for each and every one of you. You are so precious and I will never forget how kindly you treated us in one of the lowest times of my life! MUCH LOVE EVERY PET!!!! 💖🐱🐱
I came to put down my cat because I couldn't afford to get him cared for and the wonderful people were very compassionate while I was breaking down and were able to save my cats while helping me find assistance for other issues with them as well. I'd work here if I had the experience or credentials. I do plan on volunteering when I'm free of scabies every chance I can because these people care so much.
I had a truly great experience at No More Homeless Pets during my visit on Sunday. The staff was warm, patient, and incredibly caring with my pet, and I felt genuinely supported throughout the entire appointment. The doctor took time to answer my questions, explain everything clearly, and make sure my pet was comfortable and well cared for. Their kindness and dedication really stood out. While my experience on Saturday wasn’t as smooth, the exceptional service I received on Sunday more than made up for it. I appreciate how attentive and compassionate the team was, and I left feeling grateful for the level of care my pet received. I’m thankful to have a place that truly puts animals first.
My poor sweet and silly Noah, I adopted him Aug 18 2018 , clear the shelters day in Bradenton FL at Bishop animal shelter . He started showing signs of doggie dementia in 2021 and it slowly took over him . He was a Jackapoo he totally had the Jack Russell attitude and all the poodle hair . But his attitude began to get worse and he got harder and harder to handle . He went blind in both eyes and basically deaf in both ears . Lost the ability to remember wear to go potty . I did all I could for him as long as I could but at the point that he was I knew he needed help I couldn't give him . So I went to these people and they were so good and nice . I also had a kitten that I had fixed with EveryPet and I still have her. I would definitely recommend these people for all your pet care needs .
Cone here for labs, x-rays, etc. great on prices but for ME, not for my dogs treatment. Took my dog here (second vet) for x-rays due to him being swollen in lips, chest and was coughing through the night for a few weeks. I requested x-rays to be done (were the cheapest in town). Revealed he had fluid outside of his lungs and stomach. I was given a script to induces vomiting but it also induces appetite. The female doctor wore a mask and would not come in the room with us. Rather, she andar at the doorway afar off and pointed at him, with a raised eyebrow look “you see that” face gesture, while he was coughing. The doctor stated to either take him to the ER and could be costly or euthanize him. They did a heart worm test which was negative. The doctor said it could be cancer but more test needed to be done, that it is best to take him to the ER if I can afford to help him: if not, euthanize him. I didn’t like that female doctor at all. I am there are other doctors who are better here. Note * I took him to another vet prior to this vet (first one) who poorly treated him and provided nothing for his swelling or cough: only blood work and aspirate for test. Issue started in late September. * I took him to the ER which drained fluid from chest only, did bloodwork which showed his protein levels were dangerously low and gave him a vitamin B12 shot, and Royal Canine GI soft food. I was advised to take him to his vet. ER stated that the protein level being that low can cause his conditions or heart failure could be another factor. Test will have to be done. I found another vet (third one) where the doctor read all the paperwork/notes, stayed with me and listened to concerns and his symptoms that I have been observing. The doctor (Dill) advised to take a step-by-step approach and see if antibiotics along with a diuretic and inflammation medication will help him (if he will respond). If he does not respond, we will do these other steps but if he responds, we will go a different route that is less extensive. Since the visit with Dr Dill, he has been improving and has been able to sleep at night without coughing/whining. I will be taking him here to get the expensive work done bc it’s cheaper here but for his regular vet visits or treatment, he will be going to First Coast Vets, Dr. Dill. I thank God for Dr. Dill. Remember, where there is life, there is HOPE.
