James Kierra’s was outstanding. He made sure everything was working properly before he left. He also showed me exactly which filter would work best for me. James was very professional and helped me to understand what was going on With my furnace. I would recommend Him to anyone who is looking to get their furnace checked
I could write a novel, in fact I did as I kept notes of daily events so I'll summarize: Paid for new furnace/home humidifier/ACNegatives: 1) install was suppose to take 1.5 days, it's been 8 days and it's not done yet. No AC or home humidifier installed yet either. 2) first installers didn't install right-claimed new furnace needed a new heating element 3) techs that tried installing new heating element still wired wrong and blew my breaker and melted wires inside the new furnace, scortch marks in a few places on my breaker box, smoke, almost setting my home on fire. 4) Blowing up the breakers left me with no water for 1 night & 1 day bc my well pump, hot water heater and softener were among other things in the same breaker box 5) The internal communication is astonishingly terrible, techs didn't know what other techs did or were suppose to be doing. Calls not returned, appointments got mis-scheduled or not scheduled at all, parts didn't get ordered like they were supposed to, electricians didn't get ordered/unable to come out when they were suppose to leaving me with a broken unusable furnace for another full day/night (freezing temps) 6) The electrician acted like it was an inconvenience to him to come and do a safety check on my breaker box, he was in a rush and a little rude. 7) I've had multiple people to my house every day for a week, only a couple showed up on time. The rest arrived 30min- over an hour past the 4 hour window. I understand things can go wrong and they are often behind but a courtesy call to let you know they are running late would be appreciated, I wasted A LOT of time for 7 days in a row (minus Sunday) waiting on them. 8) By the time this is all said and done (supposedly after 10 days and that's IF everything goes as planned), I'll have an *old* new furnace with all *new* parts instead of a brand new furnace that should have worked from the very beginning. 9) Nest thermostat was installed poorly. 10) My electric bill is going to be outrageous with my 2nd furnace working more than double time and having to use space heaters on the very cold upper level/main living area of our home. My trust in this company is seriously lacking. Use extreme caution before choosing this company. I was misled so hopefully you won't be. Positives: 1) The senior tech that finally knew what he was doing- He went out of his way to make sure the furnace was at least somewhat working until new parts could arrive and he was able to get me my water back when the previous tech couldn't do it and no one from customer service or dispatch seemed to be of any help getting me someone out to my home ASAP. I had to keep hounding them and I hate hounding people. This senior tech was very knowledgeable and was genuinely concerned for my family's safety and gladly volunteered to do the rest of the install for me when the parts arrive. 10 people from this company have been to my home for this installation (which as a reminder is not even done yet). Out of those 10 people, the senior tech is the only one that's made progress and I am grateful for his knowledge, work ethic, and compassion. Freezing temperatures outside, this experience was a nightmare. I regret my decision to use this company for my heating and cooling needs.
Receive a quote from Four Seasons for an upgraded furnace and condenser. The sales person I had was not knowledgeable. Took a deposit but didn’t get me a contract till the next day, after numerous texted and phone calls to the company. He took pictures and measurements but couldn’t even tell me if a boxed coil would fit in the installation.Asked for a manager but they weren’t interested in even taking to me. They want to sell you what They want and be done with you. Don’t want to answer questions or listen to what you need for your situation and comfort. They just want the uneducated consumer.Get a company that will listen to what you the buyer would like. Cheapest is not the best. A customer service manager got involved and offered me a discount on my purchase and installation for my troubles So I decided to go with four seasons for my installation. I had a furnace and condensing unit installed today. The service technician would not even talk to me or answer any questions. They were not even going to replace the outside disconnect until I question him. They reused the existing plenum, and taped to seal air leaks because of poor workmanship. Reused electrical connections to furnace even though on the contract, it states everything will be new. If you’re not watching they will reuse everything. They were not even going to replace the insulation on the refrigerant lines. On the new condenser two screws were removed and not even replaced. One on the electrical box, and one on the grill for the condenser. Didn’t even want to take the time to hook up the new thermostat to the app on my phone. Have to call Lennox to see if thermostat is programmed correctly for the equipment I purchased. Installer was not a technician couldn’t explain what variable speed does. Just wanted to get out of there. Throw the equipment in and get out. This is my fourth Lenox system I had installed and they were by far the worst of anyone I had. I recommend the Lenox equipment but find another company to deal with for installation. Again, cheapest is not always best. I do not recommend Four Seasons. Find a reputable company that will take time with you on your expensive purchase. A customer service representative got involved again. They send a second installer and helper who reinstalled the system the proper way. They rectified the situation. I
I’m really not the type to write bad reviews or any review at all. However I’m at my wits end with this company. We initially called them out because the AC lines were freezing up. They came on a Sunday which was great (Appointment 1). But then they said that they couldn’t work on it or diagnose anything until the lines were thawed. So we paid $85 from them to do nothing. Ok fine…So my wife had to take off Monday so they could come back again. The technician could find anything wrong but recommend we clean the fan in the air conditioner. So we pay $95 for him to do that. He leaves and less then an hour later water starts pouring out of the air ducts by the furnace (Appointment 2). So we call them back to come out that evening to fix it but nobody it available. So then we have to set another appointment for Tuesday after work. So the technician comes out and the lines are frozen again so you guessed it…can’t work on it (Appointment 3). So now we have an appointment for Wednesday evening. Hopefully appointment 4 is the charm and the technician can properly diagnose and fix the problem. Update…appointment 4 didn’t happen because the tech didn’t read the notes from the previous tech that instructed them not to come out until after 5 because like most people I have a job. So he cancelled the appointment. So we than had to schedule appointment 5. The tech 5 comes out and tries to diagnose the problem but can’t pinpoint exactly what the issue was. So his recommendation or I should say hard sell tactic was for me to drop $5000 to $6000 on a new furnace to fix the problem. After hearing this for the second time. I decided to get a second opinion. I had another tech from another company come out and he was able to pinpoint and fix the problem. The pics attached show the faulty part he found. And replaced and it cost me $350. No where near the $6000 four seasons was pushing. I don’t recommend this company.
