I brought my rabbit in last week for our first visit here. I was initially very nervous, and actually almost canceled because I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with vets, and was nervous my rabbit wouldn’t be taken care of. When I got there, I was greeted by two very sweet girls at the front desk, and they helped me fill out the new client paperwork. They were both very nice and funny. Then, the vet tech came out and took us to a room. She was also super nice, she even said that they don’t take rabbits out of their carriers until it’s time to examine them, so that they don’t get stressed out anymore than they have to! She gave me a folder full of amazing, proper care papers/emergency contacts, and went through them with me to make sure I was taking care of my rabbit right. Then, Dr Cron came back. She was AMAZING! She was so gentle with my boy and you could tell she was experienced with rabbits. She told me about her own rabbits and her experiences with them. Her bedside manner was amazing and the appointment didn’t feel rushed at all. I left feeling so calm and very happy that I now had someone I trusted with my baby. The exam was 125 (a little pricy, but soooo worth it, you really get what you’re paying for) and you prepay if you’re a new client. Thank you so much to the staff of Glenway Animal Hospital, you guys rock! ❤️
I can't say enough good things about everyone at Glenway Animal Hospital! Everyone is so polite and friendly. They treat my dogs and I with professionalism and love. I would not go anywhere else.
I've been a customer of Glenway Animal Hospital for about four years now and I think I'm going to stick with them. I went through four veterinarians in 12 years, primarily because of trust issues with oral care, but also other issues as well. I like how pink my cat's gums are and how crystal white the teeth seem to be after every cleaning at Glenway Animal Hospital. That hasn't been the case with other veterinarians. The doctors at Glenway Animal Hospital also give little to no pushback when I think that my cat's teeth and gums need to be cleaned which, for me, is pretty much every year and a half. I need cooperation on that front and I've found it at Glenway Animal Hospital. The doctors who have seen my pets the most are Dr. Brian Cron and Dr. Hobbie. I like that Dr. Cron seems to be up-to-date on the latest information and resources. He seems to always to know whatever it might be. Whenever I have "content question," if you will, I trust his knowledge. Dr. Cron's knowledge seems to be wide and deep. I particularly like Dr. Hobbie. She's very good with respect to customer service. She possesses a welcoming disposition and knows how to talk to owners and seems to have genuine empathy for pets. I am hyper sensitive and aware of how I'm being talked to and treated at any given time and I'm not particularly trusting so I'm the type of customer who needs to be disarmed. Dr. Hobbie is naturally good at building trust.
I unfortunately had to visit today for a euthanasia appointment for my ferret Benny. As heartbreaking as this whole experience was, the entire staff from the doctors to the vet techs to the receptionists at the front desk were as kind and gentle as they could possibly be. The doctor explained everything in detail about what our boy was experiencing and how the process would go. The sedation allowed us to hold him one last time and say our goodbyes. We opted to bring his remains home with us so we could bury them and they carefully wrapped him up in his blankie after creating our memorial piece. Euthanasia is such a tough appointment for everyone involved, but we deeply appreciated the level of care and sensitivity we received. Thank you so much for making Benny’s last moments soft, caring and respectful.
We are fairly new to Glenway Animal Hospital, and so far everyone has been lovely. Our boy Louie has been well taken care of. Highly recommend! UPDATE - OCTOBER 2025 I have been coming here for 2 years now, and couldn't be happier with the care that my 2 doodles receive. Most of our care has been from Dr. Brian Cron and Dr. Beth Ruggles, and they are both wonderful!! Oh and can't forget Dr. Hobbie too! Everyone is amazing!!
