I like this company because they do not try to tell you something is broken every time they come and get you to spend extra money. They just offer a great service on a regular schedule to make sure everything is working properly; and their home maintenance contract is one of the most reasonable in the business. Ericka and Katie set up my ac rejuvenation the other day and Jarod, our ac technician came out. Our house is only a year old so we didn’t expect a lot that needed to be done. He worked inside and outside the house for about 2 hours. Jarod was able to take pictures, videos and draw up a detailed report of what our new system needed. Basically he was able to identify a bunch of work that needed to get done that our home inspector completely missed! He was friendly, professional and answered all my questions. We have been satisfied Goettl Loyalty Program members for several years and today was our regularly scheduled Annual Plumbing Checkup. Both your Plumber Technician, Josh Munoz and his Service Manager, Ben Tracy were extremely helpful. Josh drained the hot water heater and conducted a thorough inspection of all our plumbing – both floors – inside (5,500 sq ft) as well as outside and identified several issues which he quickly set about fixing. Josh was friendly, informative and professional throughout the entire process and served as a great representative of your company and team. Speaking of which – every time Josh needed to check in with management Ben made himself available as a resource. It was clear that they were working as a team. Daniel R and Josh came on very short notice to remove and install a new water heater at our house. We have two infants and couldn’t have a break in our water supply. Extremely professional and courteous. They requested an earlier arrival time, were punctual, and completed the job before 4 pm. The quality of work is exceptional, and we will definitely utilize Goettl again.
AC Replacement Gone Wrong... I have been a member for about a year, and I had a new AC unit installed at my home in Texas on June 6, 202 and I expected the process to be handled with the highest level of professionalism and care. However, several serious issues have occurred: Incorrect Unit Installed: On installation day, a 3-ton unit was installed instead of the 4-ton unit I was originally quoted for. While we ultimately agreed to proceed with the 3-ton system based on the square footage of my home, this was only after considerable confusion and inconvenience. Duplicate Membership Compensation: To "make up" for this misstep, I was told that a UV light would be installed on the coils and that I would be upgraded to a "Sadie" membership — which I already had. This gesture, while appreciated in theory, didn’t provide any real value or offset the mistake made. Water Damage Incident on 6/27/25: Just three weeks later, I discovered water leaking through my closet and into my washroom from the attic AC unit. I had to shut down the AC, in Texas heat, and was unable to get an emergency appointment Friday night. I made contact Saturday morning around 8 AM, and a technician arrived at 9:30. By 11 AM, he discovered the issue was caused by an instruction manual left inside the unit, which blocked drainage and caused water to back up into my ductwork. This was unacceptable! I then was put in contact with DryForce who ran 8 fans and 2 dehumidifiers 24/7 from June 28 to July 3. The Austin General Manager contacted me after I sent an email expressing my displeasure. He told me that they would be repairing the damage and offered me $500 for the inconvenience. I declined. I received no communication from Goettl until I reached out on July 10th. I spoke with who I believe was the manager's secretary and forwarded her an email of what still needed to be fixed in my home. I never spoke to a manager, a general contractor called me and said he was sent by Goettl. The work was finally done on 8/9! I have still not spoken with a manager, which I have requested. I was not offered a better warranty just in case their negligence during installation caused unforeseen issues in this unit. I was definitely not compensated for my time or inconvenience. And this unit has still not been inspected by the City of Round Rock. All in all, this company is not going above and beyond for you, no matter how much money you have spent with them....
