A very personal and inviting experience where the chef does a great job of explaining the foods, the origins and the intent behind the menu. Definitely a good experience and I highly recommend the sake pairing as well.

The best sushi in Reno.

First, you absolutely must have a reservation for the omakase experience on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. The dishes are prepared in front if you and presented in a carefully curated order with each course described. All the fishnis top quality, fresh, and perfectly prepared and presented. The pacing is relaxed. The chefs are personable and love what they are doing. The evening was handsdown the best sushi experience I have had in Reno. Excellent fish, perfectly prepared. No added fluff needed to hide inferior quality because everything was excellent and flavors were well balanced from start to finish. Will visit again and will try their more casual weekday dining and their neighboring poke bowl takeout.

Wildly overpriced "omakase" which was literally 95% single nigiri sushi pieces. Fish on rice. It was of good quality and the service was excellent, but for the price you can have a kings feast of unique, original and stunning art at any of the more upscale restaurants in any major metropolitan area. I legitimately feel scammed.

A truly unique experience in Reno. You won't find anything else like it here. The wait staff are extremely attentive, friendly and are there to make sure you enjoy your experience. The Itamae (person preparing the Sushi) was knowledgable regarding where each fish originated from, and how to best prepare it. On our recent visit, there was fish from Japan, Scotland and Baja. The A5 wagyu from Japan was the best steak I've ever had, and the sushi was excellent. There were quite a few fish I had never heard of. The wine and sake pairing were also great. Anyone considering coming here should do so.
