These guys absolutely smashed it from start to finish with my move from Brunswick to Reservoir. Very helpful, welcoming communication with the owner right from the first phone call. He was super responsive, explained everything clearly, and was very supportive and understanding when I asked for advice about tricky items and storage options. The team that came to the job were working so hard the whole time, arrived exactly on schedule and handled my stuff simply amazing. You could tell they actually cared. Very professional service throughout, I can see how well-trained the staff is. The guys finished on time, even though it was such a hot day outside. Saw a few grumpy reviews which I simply can't understand at all and which seem unrealitstic, because I had the total opposite experience!
Our second time moving with Home Move. Lawrence and Trent were lovely, timely, very professional, and considerate of our belongings. The cost is competitive and the movers don't waste your time. Communication and quoting is easy, transparent and fair. 10/10 highly recommend.
Absolutely, the worst decsion we made for our move was to go with these guys. We chose this outfit because they charged the highest prices and promised us the world. They quote 2-3 hours, said they'd wrap valubles like TVs and computers in bubble wrap, snesitive fantics in clingwrap to avoid ruining the fabric. The two guys were nice enough, but then needed constant reminding,; said they'd do things and then didn't. Started to slow riiiiiiiiigjt down about 1.5 hours into the job and I ended up helping them because I was starting to get frustrated. I made this known and it only seemed to embolden their time wasting. They took a lunch break and still charged us?? Like - have your lunch break. But stop the clock! It gets worse.... At the very end, I tried to contest the bill. The owner couldn't budge, straight out disagreed with what I was saying and then the two guys stood over me demanding payment. It was very intimidating. Their payment machine kept crashing and they were getting frustrated and making me feel very uncomfortable in my own home as they were getting annoyed. Can it get worse....YES! We start sorting out our house and through the nest day. Find grubby stains all over our beautiful cream cotton couch (that they didn't wrap), our fabric lamp, tore our headboard, our washing machine was BROKEN!!! AND IT FLOOODED THE WHOLE APARTMENT! and to top it off. They'd left a part of our bed in the truck and I had to spend two hours going back and forth with the manager as he didn't seem to beleive me. Turns out, they forgot that too. Ridiculous service. No follow up and apology after one month.
Vlad, Michael, and the team were professional from start to finish. They took great care with all items, carefully wrapping everything, and handled tight driveways and small lifts with ease. Very flexible and accommodating, even with last-minute date changes. Highly recommend and would use again!
I organised to have HomeMove move us at relatively short notice and it was the easiest move we have had. The guys, Ben, Chris and Angus that were sent out were amazing to say the least. They arrived on time and got straight to it, kept us up to date with their progress and did it with ease on a very hot day. Michael and Vlad were really helpful in talking me through the initial stages and what would be needed. Overall my husband and I were extremely happy and we will DEFINITELY use these guys again. Highly recommend HomeMove Thanks to everyone involved in our move!!
