Mandy is the best thing that will happen to you when planning a wedding. She was a referral from a friend who’s wedding I was in at the Boston Public Library and I had already seen her leadership in action. She is incredibly creative, commands respect, clear, and overall the perfect mix of professionalism while also feeling like a best friend. Good people attract good people and that was represented with her vendor relationships and day-of bridal team. She executed on an insanely design heavy wedding with a set-up under 90 minutes. Hiring Mandy & the hummingbird team to help with our Ireland destination wedding was the easiest and best decision we made. She not only was able to help us establish our vision for our ideal wedding, but she delivered an stress-free and on-schedule wedding weekend with professionalism and poise. She guided us through every decision and we were able to fully enjoy all our wedding events knowing that everything was under control and entrusted her to make decisions on our behalf knowing that she always had our best interest in mind. She ran a thorough rehearsal, made sure our welcome party was set up, arrived early during getting ready on the wedding day making sure all our wedding parties dresses/suits were steamed, helped coral our families and wedding party, kept vendors on schedule, made sure we always had drinks, and probably more than we even know! We walked into our wedding breakfast and our centerpieces from the wedding were on the tables.. to this day I don’t know how they got there but I know Mandy made it happen! Mandy was our Wedding Fairy Godmother. Let me just start by saying I am a perfectionist . A perfectionist who had a clear vision and sky high expectations for our wedding . In the weeks leading up to the wedding I had numerous talks with myself about how I needed to relax my expectations and how no one but me would notice any little things anyway. I had NOTHING to worry about and it was all because of MANDY, and the team at Hummingbird. I didn’t think it was possible but our wedding EXCEEDED even my high expectations. Blew them away. Both my husband and I agree it was the greatest, most special and most fun night of our lives and a large part of that is owed to Mandy. We interviewed a few wedding planners , but from the moment we spoke with Mandy we knew she was the right person for us. She understood the vision from our first planning meeting. She handled our expedited timeline, of less than six months from hiring to wedding date, with professional grace and efficiency. Her project management skills are unparalleled, she always kept us on track on our timeline. Always asking the right questions to figure out what we really wanted. She’s incredibly organized and on top of everything. She is a true pleasure to work with. After all her years in the industry she knows everyone! She put together a dream team of vendors ( after giving us many options to choose from and explaining the pros and cons of everything) . This woman is a total boss. During the tasting and the rehearsal, she corralled our sometimes spirited group and made sure everyone stayed on task and set us up for success on the Wedding Day. Our parents loved her and couldn’t stop singing her praises. On the wedding day she was on top of everything and made sure we were on time the whole day. She even found a matching tuxedo jacket when one of the groomsmen didn’t have one. She is a coordinating, logistical wizard organizing all the various vendors so that everything went off without a hitch on the wedding day. It was amazing with all the moving parts there was not one slip-up, but it was a truly perfect day. We are so grateful that we had Mandy to lead us on this journey to greatest day of our lives.
