I highly recommend the Hurwitz Law Group. I was in dire need of some advice for an upcoming restraining order hearing. I was recommended to the Hurwitz Law Group from someone who was extremely satisfied by the representation Brian Hurwitz gave him. Mr. Hurwitz took the time to call me back after I explained my situation. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and thorough with our communication. He made me feel comfortable and just by talking to him, lifted a lot of stress and anxiety that I had built up. I wont ever go anywhere else for representation other than the Hurwitz Law Group. I am so pleased that I finally have an honest attorney that I trust by my side!
Bryan was referred to me by a friend for his expertise and professional experience. I highly recommend him if you are looking for an attorney. He was very thorough with all his steps involved. He was upfront and honest. My case was time sensitive and Bryan Hurwitz was able to clear me. You will not be disappointed. I appreciate his knowledge and expertise and ability to handle my situation with my given circumstances.
We hired Brian for a family member who lives in Los Angeles & had to leave give a review as I'm also a criminal defense lawyer based in Colorado so I know bad lawyers & great lawyers. Brian is a GREAT lawyer! He is one of the most dedicated criminal defense attorneys you will ever meet. He treats every case with real care & urgency. If you need someone you can trust to protect your future he is the person you want on your side.
This is a real, authentic, and unbiased review coming from a 20 year old UCLA pre-med student who almost had his life turned around. First and foremost, I've never dealt with any sort of legal trouble before. I've never been pulled over, never had a ticket, and am a good student striving to apply to medical school soon. As someone striving to obtain their MD license in the future, a misdemeanor is a huge red flag. I was cited for reckless driving while riding a motorcycle (which was not true), where I stressed and couldn't eat for days because I thought my future would be turned around. I called numerous law firms and did my research, including asking ChatGPT for recommendations on representation based on what happened, where the software recommended Brian as the guy to take care of me. To my surprise, I was on the phone with him for about an hour, to which he answered each one of my questions in detail, making me feel comforted and trusting him, something which other lawyers lack the patience to do so. That's what made Brian stand out for me, especially when he told me over the phone he had court to attend to but will call me back after to answer anymore questions, to which he did. To see a lawyer spend that time of day to make their customers feel comforted meant a lot to me, my gut feeling was that this was the guy. I took extra steps by going into his office to meet him personally to see how he handles himself as a lawyer and his presentation, realizing if there was a lawyer I could trust more it would be him. I only received green flags upon taking the time to do my research, which was everything to me. We agreed to a fair price, which I'm not entirely sure how much most lawyers charge but I felt Brian would take care of me so, a price worth paying when it comes to a lawyer like this who will take the time and follow up with their clients before they reach out. Also, it's Brian who reaches out personally to update you, not 'representatives' like how most law firms are, also something I appreciate, speaking to him directly was just so easy. He can get backed up at times, but shooting him a simple text, he generally answers within that same week from what I've noticed. An update to my case, I presented him the facts, I paid him to get the charges dropped (to which they were dropped), and now he's sealing the case which is scheduled for the coming weeks. I have always been told that lawyers are a money grab and to not trust them, but I had the complete opposite experience. Brian saved my future as a pre-med UCLA student and is someone who I'd recommend to everyone. To take the time that he did to answer all of my questions (which I asked a lot a lot), and to follow up with clients directly etc, I mean what more can you ask for. I'm so thankful that people like Brian exist, because truly I don't know where my future would've stood without him. If there's anyone I can recommend to handle your case, it's Brian without a doubt. I can't express enough how thankful I am for someone like him.
Do not hire Brian Hurwitz, as a lawyerto represent you in a harassment case. When I did a consultation with Brian? He completely lied to me as far as he told me. He is always available 24 hours. That is not true. I will try to reach him at night. I'm always told he'll get back to me if he does get back to me; maybe following day if I'm lucky but it's never right away. Like he told me he would on the phone. Get in contact with him. During my trial was difficult, just in general, I will call him or text him and never get a response; he was always busy and could not respond even though during the consultation he reassured me that he was always going to be able to to respond and ask my phone calls, I made sure to ask him what his communication and response time was like, and he told me he always responds he's always available. None of it was true. When I hired Brian as my lawyer to represent me, he did not inform me that he was going to have a vacation plan. The following month, so he then caused my case to be extended for next another month. Which I could tell annoyed the judge very much so. It's raining win. The worst part was during this time. Brian cannot be reached at all. I was trying to get in contact with him to figure out what day our trial was so I can communicate my employer. What day I needed to take off in order to attend the trial. Brian does not respond to my numerous attempt to get this information, apparently, not even his receptionist nose. The date they couldn't give it to me. I had to wait for Brian to return my text a month later. To figure out what day specifically, I needed to take off for the trial. And then on the day of the trial, Brian does not come prepared. He is in a side room reviewing the videos that I had trying to pick timestamps in order to play for the judge; He had two whole months to come up with the case but does not do that until the day of the trial in which he was unprepared, because he didn't bring any back up of the videos. He was relying solely on the WI. Fi, which apparently was not connecting to his computer. Luckily, I thought ahead and I backed up to the videos too on my phone embroider with me. But now we're sitting here 30 minutes before the trial. Trying to find timestamps for him to present during the case. Question, which did not go well? Because the judge, it's impatient because Brian's trying to have me. Pull up videos on my phone, please. To then give the bailiff to then show him that the videos once again, the judge is extremely annoyed and is now rushing us through my testimony. Because we look good, completely unprepared, an unprofessional. Then, to make matters worse, when the judge gives me an ultimatum. In which would require me to lose my privilege to park on the street, brian tells me to take the deal instead of trying to further explain to the judge that this is public street parking and I can park there. Had I taken this offer that brian was telling me to do and accept the judges conditions I wouldn't be able to park on the street in my own neighborhood because brian was not willing to fight and explain to the judge that I live in the neighborhood and I can park on this street. During this whole trial, it just seemed that Brian did not care and did not put as much effort. In my case, it seemed like he was more about all his other cases and did not give him the effort. The fact that he showed app on the day of the child unprepared with no time stamps, no evidence to back up the claims that he was trying to present to the judge. And then to have me have to explain my videos to the judge because Brian clearly didn't watch the videos. I didn't understand what was going on in them. Then to make matters worse after my trial, I asked Brian for an invoice. My trial happened in December 2024, it is now September 2025, and he has still not provided me with an invoice to see what it is that I paid for. Mind you, Brian is not cheap, and I would think I would receive excellent representation that is not the case. He will not let me see what he charged me for.
