It was my first time using Jessie Alterations since moving to this area, and I will trust her with all of my future alterations! Not only did she do a wonderful job fixing a bridesmaid dress for me, you can tell she has a true passion for what she does and she treats her clients like family. Such a great person and talented seamstress. I highly recommend her work.
I am hesitant to write a review because once people discover Jessie, it may be harder to get an appointment. Jessie is an extraordinary tailor. She has completed dozens of my custom and special projects for me. She teaches me about fabric, structure, and how clothes fit on my body. She is confident and honest, and will not let you look bad without warning you. I always listen to her ideas about my clothes and have started shopping and caring for items differently because of her education to me about clothes. For example, did you know most dry cleaners don't wash men's shirts? People, like Jessie, with craftsmanship and concen for others, are rare in today's world and i had to write her a review because she deserves the best i can give back to her.
Jessie is absolutely amazing!! She was very knowledgeable, walked me through every detail she was going to do and delivered!! I’m new to the area so I had no idea who to go to I but I’m so thankful I went to her because she made me feel so comfortable and confident in my dress! She took my dress in on the sides, shortened my SEVEN layered dress, bustled the dress, shortened the straps and brought in the busts!! As you can see in the picture, there was a lot of beautiful detail at the bottom that she literally hand cut off individually and sewed back onto the dress! Not to mention there were hand screwed on pearls in my dress that she had to readjust herself. I am beyond satisfied with her service and WILL be returning! Also the pricing for what she delivered was very reasonable. Side note, she is incredibly sweet which makes me so glad to give her my business!
Jessie is amazing!!! I bought a bridesmaids dress that was too small. She was able to take the excess fabric from the bottom and close the back. It looks so good as if it was made like this! It’s a little roomy now and will be super comfortable to wear to my best friend’s wedding!! She also works super quick, had it done in less than a week ~
I had a great experience with Jessie Alterations! She altered my wedding dress, and not only was very kind and sweet, but did a wonderful job. I didn’t love the back of my dress when I bought it and was hopeful we could take some lace from the train to change the backing. Jessie designed a new back and hand cut all the lace flowers out and sewed them. She gave me 2 different bustle lengths (which were cleverly hidden in the flowers so they couldn’t be seen!!), added boning, hemmed without ruining the train, and added in an elastic that allowed me to pull the bust tight. I couldn’t have been happier with my dress. I will definitely go back for any other alterations I need and would highly recommend!!
