My fiancée and I knew we were in the right hands with Kate ten minutes into our introductory meeting… after hearing a little bit about how we met and our interests, she described her vision for what a celebration honoring both our love of elegant glamour and the outdoors might look like. Her insight was remarkable. This, combined with her effusive, witty personality, sealed the deal. Once we signed with Kate, we felt comfortable knowing she was going to help us craft the most wonderful weekend. Between adventurous site visits, exciting band showcases, creative vision meetings, and the most delicious tastings, Kate really became part of the family. Her eye for detail is stunning. Both my wife and I wanted to surprise one another with what we wore, and Kate made sure that my suit, her dress, the cake design, the floral design, and the clothing for the bridal party all were cohesive and beautiful despite neither my wife nor I knowing all of the minutia. It all came together like a dream. The team of vendors she brought together for us was nothing short of remarkable (our friends, many of whom are professional singers, can not stop talking about our band!). Kate also perfectly balanced the more relaxed vibe we wanted for our very large Welcome Dinner the night before (complete with s’mores!) with the old Hollywood in the country feeling we desired for the wedding (the black and white dance floor and chandeliers were perfect). We topped the weekend off with a brunch for everyone who attended, and she made sure everyone had a glorious send off. During the weekend, her team made everything flow so smoothly. My wife and I actually were able to relax and enjoy time with friends and family, which was our goal in finding the perfect Hudson Valley venue. The ceremony was beautiful, and when we finally walked into the reception tent, it was like walking into a fairy-tale. We are still walking on air after our wedding, and we are so grateful to have Kate in our lives. She will make your dreams come true and then some!
Was like having Mary Poppins as your wedding planner! Kate, her team and her fantastic vendors made this experience a dream. She was a tremendous advocate for the bride and groom, kept on budget when she had to, pushed the envelope when she could and the outcome was a gorgeous weekend that was beautiful, calm and joyous. I offer my highest praise for Kate Edmonds Events. Enjoyed working with Kate and Jess and would happily work with her again. x oo
