I reached out to Carlos at King Furniture Restoration to reupholster and refinish a rocking chair that’s been passed down in my family for many generations. I am so thankful I chose to work with Carlos! He exceeded my expectations and vision I had for the chair! He did it very quickly for us so we could have the piece done before relocating. It was in really rough shape (I’m talking 34 plus years of use) before, and now it has new life!! The cherry on top, he made a pillow out of the old & new fabric. 5+ stars 🙌
Carlos is a true artist and I am so happy I found King Furniture Restoration! After moving, I realized my beautiful solid desk would not fit down the hallway into our new office. Carlos was able to cut the feet off of the desk at an optimal point to fit down the hallway without compromising the integrity, quality or intricate design on the desk legs. He then installed screw (hidden) within the feet to reattach to the legs. His quality of work was excellent and the desk feels just as sturdy/solid as before the feet were cut. I highly recommend!!
King Furniture Restoration’s Carlos Ramírez is a true professional: knowledgeable, fair price quoted, honest, responsible & extremely kind. The type of artisan carpenter that is difficult to find; but they do exist. His work was so exceptional that I voluntarily paid him more than his quoted price. Carlos Ramírez repaired an old Chippendale camel-back sofa whose solid hard woodbase had collapsed. I had purchased the antique sofa 40+ years ago at an auction in Miami. I wanted to save it. The work required was a combination of carpentry, upholstery & furniture restoration (removing & reinstalling all the springs). Carlos Ramírez responded to my email promptly. He was able to assess the work through a number of detailed photographs I sent (where I tried to explain what was wrong with the sofa.) Within 24 hours after submitting my request, we agreed to have the work done in my home. The work was completed as promised on time. I could tell from watching him work that he wanted to ensure I was pleased with the end result. I chose Carlos Ramírez based on the perfect 5.0 rating he has earned on Google. I now add yet another 5.0 rating. If you require ANY work having to do with furniture, especially valued pieces or even antiques, make sure you hire Carlos Ramírez. Trust me; he’s that good.
Just received my 20+ year-old dinning table from Carlos and it looks fantastic, just like new but with an antique flair. He is so professional and attentive. I am already planning new projects with him and sharing his contact with my designer!
I am so happy I called King Furniture to restore my grandmother's vanity from the 1940's. Carlos did a beautiful job refinishing and restoring the wood and making it like new. He changed the colors to exactly what I asked and it turned out perfect.
