Absolutely fantastic!! This was our first time and it WILL NOT be our last— we can’t wait to come back. Seating on a Monday night took no time at all. And the food was some of the yummiest ramen in town. On top of that, our hostess ‘Joy’ was the best! So kind and friendly and helpful and just AMAZING!! One might say… she was a joy!
A very unique setting to have a nice dinner. The staff is kind and attentive. We ordered some of their most popular dishes, the Omurice and Yingyang ramen. Along with the main dishes we order the set of Pork Bao Buns and their "Amazing Lemonade". The food is delicious, I could skip the lemonade next time. Their Omurice is their most popular dish, it is very creamy and balances well this the bed of fried rice, as well as the Tonkatsu pork. The YinYang ramen gives the indecisive person at the table the best of both world. It comes with a Miso based ramen on one side, and a Spicy Tonkatsu on the other side. Both ramen come with plenty of toppings. Lastly, the Omurice comes with the choice from one of two desserts. We opted for the Matcha Pudding, it was the perfect balance of sweet and bitter.
We came because a friend’s coworker recommended it to them and it did not disappoint! The staff were all very kind and helpful. The food was so delicious especially the appetizers! They didn’t have a few items so it’ll be something to come back and visit for but overall the food and drinks were delicious. I will say the only ramen I didn’t find a 10/10 was the #9 Shoyu Chicken Ramen. The chicken was delicious but the broth just needed something else to really level it up. The #6 in spicy was perfect level of spice and flavor! The brown sugar bubble tea was a perfect sweetness and the coconut smoothie at 75% was smooth and the perfect sweetness!
I’ve been eager to try this place since it opened, and I finally got the chance. I went on a Thursday night with three other people. Usually, there’s a long line and wait time, but it wasn’t too busy when we went. We were seated immediately, and only about ten people were behind us. The place is well-lit and the interior is cute. Love the vibe. My friend wanted to sit in the honeycomb area, but all the tables were occupied, so we ended up in the birdcage-style booth instead. Tbh, I liked it way better. Our server was awesome. She was nice and accommodating. Answered all our questions and gave us a couple of recommendations. Two of us ordered the Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, and the other got the Yinyang Bowl. I had the Pork Tonkatsu Omurice Combo and chose the demi-glace sauce based on our server’s suggestion. We also ordered Shrimp Tempura and Ika Geso Kara-age. The shoyu ramen had good flavor. It wasn’t too salty or overly heavy like some ramen can be. The yinyang bowl, as the name suggests, is served in a yin-yang shaped bowl, which is pretty cool. You get to try two different kinds of ramen. Tonkotsu Shoyu on one side and Sapporo Miso Ramen on the other. I wasn’t a fan of the miso ramen though. The flavor just didn’t do it for me. The omurice, on the other hand, was great. The egg was perfectly cooked. It spread beautifully over the rice once it was sliced, then the sauce was poured on top. Excellent presentation. The pork tonkatsu was tender. By itself, it was a bit bland, but the demi-glace sauce definitely helped make it enjoyable. The omurice combo also includes a dessert choice of matcha pudding or cherry blossom jelly. Since my friends had been here and liked the cherry blossom jelly, they suggested I get that. It was a small, clear, dome-shaped jelly with a flower inside, and came with syrup to pour on top. It was a good palate cleanser. Lightly sweet and refreshing. Not too shabby. Overall, it wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t disappointing. Still worth checking out. Just expect a bit of a wait since it’s a new spot and everyone wants to try it.
Saw this place on social media and wanted to give it a try. It was just as good as I had hoped. The service, food, and vibe were all amazing. The unique atmosphere adds to the experience and makes it stand out from other ramen places. The ramen was spectacular! We got the Tonkotsu and the Miso, both were excellent. I will certainly be returning and trying to omurice. Our servers, Mint and Bayu, were very attentive and ensured we were well taken care of. They were also extremely friendly. Definitely recommend. Be ready for a wait! This place is popular and gets packed around dinner time.
