We have had a wonderful experience for all 3 of my children at lighthouse tutoring. Alan focused on writing skills as this was an area lacking for us. Also provides wonderful resources for you at home to assist in your child’s journey. We utilised Alan’s services in preparation for both selective school testing and scholarship testing and all 3 received places at an academic selective school as well as one receiving academic scholarship at independent school.

Alan Noble has been very instrumental in teaching and mentoring my daughter Sophia throughout year 5 & 6 towards preparation for the selective school exam. He provides weekly feedback to both the students and parents on their performance. Sophia’s standards in both English and Maths have improved to a very high standard under Alan’s guidance. She has particularly improved on her essay writing and is now able to organise ideas and themes for her essay. From a math’s perspective Sophia tells me that Alan is able to break-down problems in an “easy to understand” method, such that she is able to solve the problems easier and faster.
