First time in my life a vet office has made my dog AND me comfortable! My mango is always so anxious about the vet. But the techs and Dr Emily showed my baby how much they really care. I know i can count on them (:
I don’t even know how to start this review because I have had such an incredible experience with Lone Tree and the entire staff. There’s two parts to this review first is how they’ve treated my dog and second is how they’ve engaged me as a worried dog parent. I also attached a picture so folks can see my sweet boy, Cookie💕 First, I have a fear reactive 20 lbs mixed dog. He can’t go to groomers, was constantly muzzled at other vets, and overall the vet was just an incredibly stressful experience. Dr. Emily was the first vet to ever name he was just incredibly scared and he wasn’t mean or trying to hurt people he was just terrified. Her and the whole team have taken him with patience, kindness, and care. I can hear when he gets taken to the back or when they pop in the room and they’re nothing but sweet and calm with him. I also believe they don’t muzzle him and they just work with him patiently and slowly. Second part of the review is how they’ve engaged me. My pup has had wonky blood work for 2 years, specifically his liver and sometime pancreas. It has sent me into a total panic. This has led me to do hours of research and come in with loads of questions. The entire team is patient and takes my questions in stride. If I wanted to explore certain test or treatment methods they worked with me to ensure we were checking every single box to make sure he is as healthy as he can be. I’ve never been made to feel bad or silly for sobbing in their office or being worried with 100 questions. A little bonus he also really struggles with allergies and they’ve been so attentive as we’ve explored how to navigate that as well. I could not recommend lone tree more and it’s actually one of the things keeping me in Nebraska. TLDR: Cookie (picture attached) is a fear reactive pup with bad allergies and wonky blood work with his liver and pancreas. The team has been so kind, sweet, and patient with his fear, and so responsive to me in researching and exploring what’s wrong with his liver. I recommend Lone Tree 1000000%
I had a consultation appointment today with Dr Emily as my Frenchie needs BOAS surgery. Dr Emily was very warm and welcoming to both my dog and myself. She was very receptive to my lengthy list of questions and answered all of them completely and professionally. I never felt rushed or like I was taking up her time. She was very thorough in her examination of my pup and explained as she went along. She very much put me at ease as it’s an overwhelming surgery for you to anticipate having on your dog. I very much enjoyed our visit and would recommend Dr Emily to others. Thank you for your time! Happy Holidays!
I recently got my pup neutered at Lone Tree. I was a NERVOUS wreck, but their communication was spot on and very open. I appreciated the updates, pic, and quick responses. I also appreciate how they went over pre and post surgery care and explained literally everything to me.
I cannot express my gratitude enough for the whole team at this clinic. We didn’t necessarily have a negative experience at our old veterinarians office, but the experience and care we received at Lone Tree went so above and beyond that we will be switching our 5 pets to their clinic. Our cat was having issues urinating outside the box. We’ve been to our vet a few times for this issue in the past couple weeks, and wanted a second opinion on what was going on. Just some things to highlight: - family friendly environment. They brought me and my kids back to a room while we waited for our cat to be seen, and provided books and coloring pages to help the littles pass the time. They even gave our kids popsicles — so needless to say, they’re now a fan of going to the vets. - therapeutic environment, designed with intention to make the vets a positive experience for our pets. Feliway and cat trees in the exam rooms on the cat side. The waiting area was separated by species. Unsure if they’re fear-free certified, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they are. As a dog trainer, these are the extra steps that I encourage people to look for when finding a vet for their dog. - transparent costs up front. They went over a medical plan with me, why each test would be necessary, and how much it would cost. - they didn’t charge extra for my cat to stay at the clinic over night to collect a urine sample. We’re a multicat home, so this was VERY helpful, and was not a level of care our vets have ever offered. - affordability. The other Vet clinic we had been going to is known for being one of the most affordable in Omaha while still providing quality care. Our cat received not even half of the services she received at Lone Tree, yet the total for the bills were comparable. Objectively, not only was this clinic a higher quality of care, but it was also somehow more affordable. I could go on. The staff were friendly and professional and took their time with us to ensure our questions were answered and concerns were addressed. It’s clear this clinic not only cares deeply for animals, but also the animals people.
