Excellent 24/7 emergency veterinary clinic. We were greeted right away, and the nurses came out immediately to take our dog in for urgent care. Our dog had eaten chocolate. They explained everything in detail, told us exactly what they were going to do, and treated us with great understanding and compassion given our emotional state. All procedures were carried out promptly, and the cost was reasonable. It truly felt like they were caring not for a dog, but for a small child — which is exactly how we see him. We are extremely satisfied with both the medical outcome and the attitude, care, and support we received. Huge thanks to the entire medical staff.
I appreciated this hospital because they were one of very few to allow us to bring in an opposum who was hit by a car and needed euthanized, but the appreciation stops there. They were very busy, which is completely understandable (I've worked in vet med), but for an animal with labored breathing, choking on its own blood, and bleeding from the mouth and nose, they told us there would be a long wait and couldn't give us an exact timeframe. (Euthanasias SHOULD be handled immediately.) We waited an hour while seeing the opposum's condition deteriorating, and also while seeing techs tend to other situations that were less urgent. While waiting, we observed an owner who had a dog that already tested positive for PARVO (highly contagious and highly fatal) walking around freely in the lobby, then later a tech proceeded to assist the man by carrying in his dog right through the lobby, while the dog proceeded to spew diarrhea and vomit all the way from the parking lot through the lobby. The tech did not have the forethought to ask the other family who had a 9 month old PUPPY to move out of the way or put them in a room, but instead carried the parvo dog right in front of them, leaving a trail of diarrhea within a foot of the puppy. After I had told the family that that dog had parvo and they should move their puppy from the mess, a tech came out (after they moved the puppy) and proceeded to raise her voice at the family to pick up their dog quickly so they can go into a room (something that should have been done BEFORE the parvo dog came in). It took a long time for somebody to come out to clean the diarrhea and vomit from the lobby, meanwhile owners and the security guard were stepping in the mess, further contaminating the area. While we were still waiting with the dying opposum, mind you, another tech rolled a gurney out the lobby door to get a dead dog from another owner's car (non-urgent), and wheeled the gurney right through the parvo diarrhea. The tech who "cleaned" the parvo mess did not even fully clean the mess, and left a diarrhea trail outside on the sidewalk. After witnessing this absolute shitshow, I finally asked a tech if she had an updated timeframe for the opposum, in which she became snappy and rude, trying to argue with me (I was not being snappy and rude with her-- she was over stressed and did not know how to manage her own emotions). She was trying to beat around the bush, but made it crystal clean by her words and actions that they were prioritizing "cats and dogs" over "wildlife" and obviously did not see any value in the opposum's life and were fine with him suffering. So even though they had an animal actively dying in their lobby, they opted to prioritize wheeling in an already dead dog through parvo diarrhea, in which they further smeared through the lobby and back into their treatment area, putting their hospitalized animals at risk. I ended up calling around yet again for another ER that would accept an opposum to euthanize and found an amazing facility who not only agreed to do so, but who took him in immediately, and was very professional with the situation. I normally don't post reviews for vet hospitals, because I know things happen and it's very stressful to work in the field, but this situation showed that on MULTIPLE fronts the staff did not care about their patients, animals in general, or their clients, based on how they neglected a dying/suffering animal, how they were snappy with clients, and how they put so many other dogs at risk of contracting parvo (the area is still highly likely contaminated). The tech even had the audacity to tell me they are "doing me a favor" by euthanizing the opposum. No, you are doing your job. Management can review their cameras for the late night/early morning hours of 12/21-12/22 to witness this shitshow for themselves, so there is no need to comment asking for a phone call to the manager. You have all the details right here and the video footage.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hospital. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely supported and reassured. My cat had ingested a poisonous flower and needed to be hospitalized for two days. The team here handled everything with such compassion, expertise, and dignity that I knew he was in the best hands possible. The doctors and staff were incredibly thorough, taking the time to explain every step of his treatment, all of the risks, and what to expect throughout his stay. They communicated with such warmth and patience that I always felt informed and comfortable. What truly stood out was their consistent updates. They called me multiple times a day just to let me know how he was doing, how he was responding, and to reassure me that he was stable and comfortable. Those calls meant so much to me. You can tell that everyone here genuinely cares about the animals they treat. They treated my cat with real kindness and dignity, and you can feel their dedication the moment you walk through the door. I left feeling confident that he was receiving exceptional medical and emotional care. This hospital is truly amazing — the professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail are unmatched. If your pet ever needs emergency care, this is absolutely the place you want them to be. I am incredibly grateful for the team here. They took such good care of my cat, and I cannot thank them enough.
I have nothing but great things to say about this place and the staff. We took our 6-year old golden retriever to get treated after a collapse with a distended abdomen on Dec 1, 2025. He was in critical condition and everyone worked super hard and sensibly to stabilize him. Thankfully, he was stabilized so my family and I were able to say goodbye before putting him down on Dec 2, 2025. He had been diagnosed with internal bleeding from hemangiosarcoma as a highly probably cause. Literally all the staff was as sensible as they were professional, and could not recommend this place enough. Celeste, Heather, Dr. Taniguchi, Dr. Kerr, Claudia, Christian, and all the staff whose names I failed to get – thank you from the bottom of my heart for your care and hard work on Bradley. My family and I will forever be grateful. God bless.
The entire staff had a part is saving our kitten’s life. Our family will never forget it. We came in because our little Tux ate part of a yoga mat and was showing signs of distress. We walked in on Thanksgiving morning and the staff was friendly and completely honest with us about wait time. It was a long wait but to be fair we saw much worse off animals and we understood that they needed the attention first. Tux was taken back about 2 hours after arrival and assessment done pretty quickly. Dr Evens was very straight forward about different ways we could go about treatment. He was kind and explained the whys behind the tests. Tux spent the night and the next day Dr Evens gave me a call with his observation of Tux. She looked worse and surgery was the only way to give her a chance. The Invoice was sent quickly with estimates and break downs of the costs, it was a lot of money. Again, the staff worked with us to ensure we could give Tux a chance. Care credit and family all chipped in to make it possible but the staff and Dr Evens never wrote us off because we didn’t have all the cash right away. This office is amazing and I’m glad we found them.
