I visited this store today looking for Homeschool supplies and Christmas gifts. We made a circle around the store looking at everything, taking our time. About half way through my husband notices a worker following us. Her name was Shannon. We Kept going, a male worker asked my husband if he needed help, my husband said yes, he was looking for a cook book & men’s devotionals. The male worker was great and helped my husband pick a book out. We keep going and we are around the angels at this time and my 3 year old grabs one to hold. My husband quickly tells her to put it down and move on and the woman worker runs up grabs the angel out of my daughter’s hands and says “you can’t touch, you can only look.” We move to the next aisle and my oldest daughter is smelling the candles and here comes Shannon again. She looked at me, looked at my daughter, rolled her eyes, shook her head and huffed. She then went to go speak to a coworker and continued to look at us and shake her head. I immediately took our FULL shopping cart straight to her and I said “we will no longer be purchasing these items because of how unprofessional and disrespectful you are being” her reply was “good” and I said to her “that’s a shame that you think this is an okay way to treat customers” and she said “if you have an issue there’s my manager” and points to the woman she was just speaking with. We walked out very frustrated, angry and embarrassed! 10-15 mins later I returned to the store to speak with the manager and told her everything that I’m sure Shannon left out. The manager reassured me that she would “handle it” but judging by how Shannon thought that was an appropriate way to treat a customer and confidently direct me to her manager as if they would have her back no matter what, told me the manager probably won’t do anything about it. It’s a shame and I will tell anyone who will listen not to shop there!

Went to this so called “Christian” store yesterday @ around 1:30 and spent good money there just for the so called “Christian man” at the counter to ruffle up the two blankets (that I took time picking out because they were nicely packaged) I was buying to see if we hadn’t stuffed things in them. My family and I have never been treated like this in a circular store! I will never step a foot in this establishment ever again! Since my race isn’t good enough to trust so isn’t my hard earned money good enough to keep them in business! Mardel’s you need to do better!

Oh MY! This place is AMAZING! I was looking for a Bible for both of my teenage daughters. The store was HUGE and clean and the customer service was fabulous! We found everything we needed and then some. They foiled my daughter's names on their bibles for minimal cost. Wish we had more time to look around because they sell more than just bibles. They also have clothing and home decor!! We will go again next time we are in town or order online for any of our religious needs!!

Every time that My Husband & I go to mardel we can always find everything that we need when it comes to find the right Bible for us, scriptures clothing, Bible covers as well as other things that helps us on our spiritual journey with God 🙌✝️🙌

I went to this store for the first time.. they have so many nice things.. I went 20 minutes before they closed, I definitely need much more time to browse around.. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I will definitely go back again, with more time to spare that is
