I am giving the 1 star because it will not allow me to give 0 starts!! This was me getting a massage for the first time ever and I chose the full body 60 Minute massage. The service was provided to me by a 75 year old grumpy and frustrated lady. The whole time she was massaging me she kept on talking about her personal life, kept on asking personal questions and the last thing this massage provided me was relaxation. It was outright frustrating. She kept on checking the clock and literally kept on saying “okay, you have 28 minutes more”. I will not recommend this location to anyone who wants a relaxing massage because you will not be getting that! What a waste of my hard earned 80$!!

I found a wonderful therapist at the Tempe location and he stated he works at this location as well. I booked my last massage while in AZ with 'Daniel' at the Gilbert location. It was a different Daniel. The Daniel at the Gilbert location has an initial behind his name and doesn't at the Tempe location. I recieved THE WORST most unprofessional massage of my life that day. The therapist was awkward, and fell asleep at least 3x during the massage. Ugh! It's been 3 weeks since I spoke to the manager at the Tempe location (where my membership was paid) and they have 'been working on a resolution' with the manager at this location. Nothing has happened and I'm frustrated.

Don't waste your money on a membership. I'm canceling mine as soon as the contract expires and will never give Massage Envy another dime!!!

Terrible business. When you cancel they will just continue to bill you over and over. I’ve called multiple times and I keep getting “that’s weird, we will look into it” with no update or call back and still no cancellation. I will be disputing with my bank today after 5 months of wrongful charges. Will not be coming back.

I was very impressed by the massage therapist Gloria! She definitely has a lot of knowledge on releasing muscles and getting out knots, and incorporated a bit of stretching as well to aid this. I imagine that she could accommodate all levels of pressure. Highly recommend!
