DO NOT SHOP THERE! I REPEAT, DO NOT SHOP THERE! A FEW WEEKS AGO, I WAS STUCK AND NEEDED A POWER SUPPLY FOR WORK. I GAVE THE PERSON WHO WAS SERVING ME THE EXACT MODEL OF THE COMPUTER AND HE “RESEARCHED” IT AND CAME UP WITH A POWER SUPPLY THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO WORK PERFECTLY WITH MY COMPUTER. WHAT REASSURED ME WAS THAT HE SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING. FURTHERMORE, HE SAID,”IF THERE ARE ANY ISSUES, YOU COULD BRING IT BACK FOR A REFUND OR EXCHANGE.” SO, I WENT AWAY FEELING CONFIDENT THAT IT WOULD WORK. I GOT HOME AND PLUGGED THE POWER SUPPLY IN AND, TO MY SURPRISE AND DISMAY, IT WAS BARELY HOLDING THE CHARGE. SO, I DECIDED TO BRING IT BACK, FEELING PERFECTLY JUSTIFIED IN DOING SO. THE INTERNET CLAIMED THAT THEY OPENED AT 10 AM. I DROVE BACK 45 MINUTES IN ORDER TO BE THERE AT 10 AM AND THE DOOR WAS PADLOCKED. I WENT BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AND IT WAS PADLOCKED AGAIN. I CALLED LATER THAT DAY BEFORE GOING BACK A THIRD TIME AND THE PERSON WHO ANSWERED SAID THAT THEY WERE OPEN IN THE AFTERNOON UNTIL 6 PM. I WENT IN PERSON FULLY EXPECTING TO BE REIMBURSED AND WHAT HAPPENED? FIRST OFF, THE PLACE IS A DUMP! THEN, I BASICALLY HAD 2 PEOPLE SPEND 15 MINUTES EXPLAINING TO ME HOW THEY WERE THE BEST IN MONTREAL AND HOW THEY OFFERED GREAT SUPPORT AND THAT THE PROBLEM WAS ME, SO BASICALLY NO REFUND! NEVER MIND THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT! NEVER MIND THAT THE PRODUCT THAT THEY SOLD ME WITH THEIR SUPPOSED “EXTENSIVE EXPERTISE” DIDN’T WORK FOR ME. ALL THEY SAID WAS THAT THEY COULD NOT REFUND ME BECAUSE IT WORKED IN “OTHER COMPUTERS.” MY SUGGESTION TO ANYONE CONSIDERING BUYING ANY PRODUCT THERE…RUN , DON’T WALK, TO ANY OTHER STORE BUT THERE. YOU’RE BETTER OFF WAITING A LITTLE OR DRIVING A LITTLE FURTHER IN ORDER TO GO TO A REPUTABLE VENDOR. THIS WAS A TRULY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE AND, IF I COULD PUT A RATING OF 0, I WOULD.

I was told superheroes wore capes, but actually, they work in phone booths. I showed up with a VoiceIP problem that would have stumped NASA. Ashref? He didn't even flinch. He spent two hours taming the technology, for free, with the calm of a Shaolin master and the precision of a Swiss watchmaker. In a time when everyone is chasing money, he's chasing perfection and human service. Honestly, the system only lets me give 5 stars, but Ashref deserves the whole constellation. If you have a technical issue, look no further: this is the last bastion of quality customer service.

I went there several times a while back. If I remember correctly, I had two computers repaired and tried to get a phone repaired once, but the phone was a total loss. Luckily, they sold me a great phone that I still have and it's fantastic. Both computer repairs were successful. Thank you so much, Mega Electronix.
