I had Dr Simpson and she was great with my kids super understanding and knowledgeable. However her nurse needs her nursing license suspended or something. She gave my kids injections and instead of gently or just giving injections like any typical medical professional would have she was rushing for reasons I don’t have a clue and she stabbed the needle into their thighs and made my son bleed and some of the blood got on my jeans and he wouldn’t stop screaming while we were in the office my sons thigh was swollen for a few days. That same day she informs me that they were out of an injection and gives my other son his needed injections but neglects to mention that since my son is receiving a injection that’s considered “live” that I would need to get his other needed dose somewhere else within that same day for safety reasons and to make matter worse it was a whole different nurse informing me..after leaving the office and calling twice after I left…so I had to wait over a month to get his other vaccine. Then she asks out of the blue after she left the room if I wanted to get lead testing done on my sons but didn’t ask if I wanted to get lead testing done on my daughter when they both live under the same roof and thirteen months apart I found that a bit odd.. Parents be aware of everything that is being handled during your visit.
I've been taking all six of my kids here since birth. Dr. Lindgren is the absolute best pediatrician. The kids love him and he always takes the time with you and your family.
Office manager's policy is that doctors are not allowed to call parents as it's considered an office visit. I love Danielle Brady, she is amazing. Ex took my daughter in. I was not at the appointment and I had follow questions about it. Called and asked to talk with the doctor. Received a call back and was, in an unkind tone, informed that doctors are not allowed to call parents, they consider it an unpaid visit and do not allow that. My doctors with the U call all the time on their own and welcome follow up calls from patients. This policy doesn't serve the kiddos nor their parents well. Such a shame because Dr. Brady is amazing.
We just love Dr. Rower and her team. We have been seeing her for a little over 4 years, I have three kids. She’s always taken as much time as we have needed with any issues we have had. I never feel rushed or like my concerns are invalid no matter how dumb they might be. She always makes time for us when I’m nervous or concerned. The nurses and team there are also great whenever I have questions. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for care for their children.
Most of the pediatricians we’ve seen here when we’ve popped in for a one-off visit for our sick little one have been great! However, our other experiences have been disappointing. We have unfortunately had a handful of unpleasant interactions with one of the women at the front desk who have been snappy or short with us over the phone. We have from time to time, popped in to see Doctor Burton when our little one has been sick because she is typically the only one who has availability, and she almost always will write off your visit as nothing or a “common cold”. She won’t let you get a word in edgewise when you’re trying to explain the situation at hand, talk about any issues or concerns you may have, and gives outdated advice that isn’t medically up to date or accurate. Every time we’ve seen her, we’ve left feeling honestly more confused and frustrated than before, without any resolutions or next steps. She is also a bit unprofessional. Most recently, after our last visit, she told us that our 9 month old infant would be fine to hold a fever of 105. Like.. what? The after hours nurse line had told us the night before that anything 103+ is concerning! Halfway through this visit, we were visibly exasperated because we weren’t given the opportunity to speak without constantly being interrupted so she goes, “sorry you’re upset”, and then leaves the room. End of the visit. It’s extremely frustrating as a parent who is seeking answers to be written off with no chance to speak about your situation. I want to give this clinic more stars because honestly, our pediatrician Doctor Rower is so phenomenal and deserves 5 stars just herself! She takes the time to make sure you leave feeling knowledgeable and confident in taking care of your little one. I wish she was in office more, however, we really could not be happier with her as our pediatrician. We truly feel that she takes care of our little ones as if they were her own!
