My husband, Scott, and I were lucky enough to have Modern Vintage as our planners for our wedding in November 2024. At first, I was hesitant about hiring planners—our venue included a coordinator, and I was trying to pinch pennies. But let me tell you: they are worth every single cent and more. I cannot imagine navigating the planning process, welcome party, ceremony, or reception without them. The day truly would have been a completely different event—far less magical and far more chaotic—without their guidance. Jessie and Becca (and, if you’re lucky, Evan!) not only bring impeccable taste and deep industry connections, but they are also absolute gems of human beings. Some of our favorite memories are from our planning sessions with them, and nearly a year after our wedding, we’re lucky to call them friends. They keep you organized and sane throughout the process, and when the big day finally arrives, their smiles and flawless coordination allow you to relax, breathe, and fully take in the experience. Becca & Jessie are the absolute BEST! Everything about our wedding turned out exactly as we had hoped and planned. Words can't really capture how grateful and in love/awe/ we are with Modern Vintage Events and Becca and Jessie. I'll be the first to admit that I was a "wedding planner" skeptic coming into this wedding planning process - coming out of it, I can tell you that hiring Modern Vintage Events was the best decision we made on our wedding day. Hands down. We hired Becca and Jessie for their coordination services (in retrospect, if we could do it again, we would hire them for full planning) and from beginning to end their services were spotless. They allowed us to actually focus on our day and what it was about -and not worry about a million little details that are burdensome but necessary to make a big event run. They were calm, collected and just plain lovely the entire process, and made us feel confident and stress free in the weeks leading up to our wedding. More importantly, they were our advocates- making sure that other vendors did their jobs, getting us better pricing than we could have secured on our own, and making sure the day was organized exactly how we wanted it to be. Unlike many other vendors we worked with, Modern Vintage Events was responsive, timely, honest, energetic, friendly, helpful, amazing... I could go on. Do yourself a favor and hire them - I am positive you won't regret it.
