Called day before to check availability, staff was nice and even gave me a heads up about the weather. They were helpful making sure we had life jackets for the kids, gave us some tips on good fishing spots, and the pontoon boat was very nice. Would definitely recommend 👌

The boats are old and not well maintained or very clean, but the bigger issue is that they only let you take the boats in a very limited area right in front of the rental location. We were hoping we would get to see a lot more of the lake. We only needed a half day - not sure what you would do for a full day as we saw it all in just a couple hours. The boat had spiders and such all over it, no cup holders and even had some moss growing on it. I would check out the other rental company on the lake next time.

I wouldn't ever recommend renting a boat here. For what you pay for a day's rental, I wouldn't even buy the boat for. They're decades old boats that are beat to pieces. No instrument panels worked, no gas gauge, no speedometer, no depth finder. Cushions were ripped. No speakers or stereo. The front gate had two screws fall out the second we stepped on the boat so it was just hanging there the entire time. Plus, pretty rude staff when we got back to the dock.

TERRIBLE customer service. While we had no problem renting the boat. When we arrived they HIGHLY suggested we purchase engine insurance as many boats have been coming back damaged (we agreed ... just in case). It was only $40. Once out on the boat, we quickly realized that was a scam. The water was very deep and you were in no danger of hitting any rocks (which is what they told us happens ALL THE TIME). However, after boating for most of the day, we tried to reel in our anchor and it was stuck. We called the company (assuming they would come help us) instead we were informed that this was "our problem" and that we could either continue to try to get the anchor un-stuck by moving the boat back and fourth but if we were late we would still be charged a late fee ($10 a minute) or we could cut the anchor and pay for a new one ($35). Obviously have no choice we cut the anchor and returned to shore. When I went to ask the owner/manager if our engine insurance fee would be placed towards the cost of the new anchor and he refused to talk to me, wouldn't even look at me and said "no this is not a conversation". He was very rude and disrespectful. I would NOT receommend anyone use this company. There are many other boat rental companies in Nashville ... wish we would have used one of them simply for the lack of respect these workers had towards us. VERY dissapointed.

Nashville Boat Rentals is the best place near Nashville to rent a boat for the day. Ty and his team are amazing. They take care of everything start to finish and I really appreciate how their pricing is all inclusive. We had an amazing day out on the water thanks to them - can't wait to do it again!
