I am beyond grateful for the exceptional care Dr Lucy, Dr Lou (specialist anaesthetist), Dr Pip, and the wonderful nursing team provided to my elderly boy, Zest. At 15, with a long and complex medical history, he requires a very thoughtful and individualised approach and this team delivered that with genuine heart. From the very first conversation, Dr Lucy made me feel heard. She took every concern seriously, understood Zest’s background, and approached him with a level of detail, patience, and compassion that is incredibly rare. Her communication was clear, kind, and always centred on what was best for him. Dr Lou’s anaesthetic care was extraordinary. Her plan was gentle, carefully tailored, and carried out with such precision that I felt completely reassured throughout. The updates during his procedure beginning, middle, and end meant the world to me. I always knew how he was doing, and I never felt left in the dark. The nursing team were just as wonderful. Their warmth, gentle handling, and genuine affection for Zest turned a stressful day into something I felt supported through at every step. After moving from Brisbane, I worried deeply about finding a veterinary team I could trust with my old boy for the remainder of his senior years. I have absolutely found that here. Their meticulous care, respectful communication, and true dedication have earned my trust completely. I’m so grateful to have found our new vet family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Our baby and light of our life, Moose, had a nasty urinary issue which he really struggled with. Throughout, the team at this clinic were empathetic, caring, responsive, and practical. Dr Pip and the team went truly above and beyond to help our little guy. He's now home, recovering well, and getting lots of pets from his mums
For reasons we can only imagine, our 13 year old Staffy Denny decided to take up a new hobby this weekend: eating sand … following a night in the ED with little change, we called North Perth Veterinary Centre to get Denny an urgent appointment. Upon answering the call, Pip and the team were already aware of Denny’s ED visit and anticipating our visit (truth be told, I think we only just beat them to the phone…). They fit Denny in for an appointment first thing and kept him in all day for fluids, tests, and pain relief. Under normal circumstances, our boy is first in first out as he is a certifiable PITA when it comes to sooking. Despite this, Pip and the team kept him comfortable, even taking turns sitting with him to keep him from crying. Unfortunately, the sand was blocking his digestive system and it was a waiting game to see if it resolved (as surgery was not ideal). Pip sent us home for the night with everything we needed - we felt prepared and confident in her guidance. The next day, despite being the only vet on duty and fully booked, Pip and the team got Denny in again for an Xray inbetween appointments. As we weren't out of the woods yet, Pip and her dedicated team made another slot available for Denny on Monday to see how things were going. Thankfully, Denny's blockage had resolved. On more than one occasion this weekend, we found ourselves saying how thankful we were for the team at North Perth Veterinary Centre. Even when the outcome seamed impossible, we knew that decisions were being made in Dennys best interests - no matter how hard it may have been to hear. This is not the first time Pip and the team have been there for Denny and thanks to their efforts and dedication, it won't be the last. If you're looking for a vet clinic that's cares for your pets as much as you do - North Perth Veterinary Centre is the family for you.
Dr Pip is very knowledgeable and has provided excellent care for our two frenchies over the past 5 years, ranging from small issues to a major injury. She has always offered practical solutions and is not quick to jump to surgery as an answer, which I've experienced with other vets. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a go-to clinic.
