Chyna, Kinsey, and Cathy went above and beyond to make our private studio booking for my bday the best time ever. Chynna blessed us with her choreography and energy and I can’t recommend her dance after dark classes enough. Also had so much fun in derricks hip hop classes, can’t wait to try more instructors classes as well. My friends who have never danced are poprox fans now, it’s our new favorite workout! Try a class— the instructors are truly are so welcoming

The U-District PopRox studio has such good energy. The classes are always fun, the instructors are super encouraging, and it’s just a really welcoming space no matter your level. It’s the perfect mix of challenge and chill vibes highly recommend it if you want to dance, move, and have a good time. :)

I’ve been coming to PopRox almost weekly for over a year and have truly enjoyed the classes. However, a recent encounter with their management left me very disappointed. The situation was handled with unnecessary hostility and an unfriendly attitude, which completely changed how I feel about this place. I understand policies and waitlist rules exist, but the way they’re communicated matters. The interaction felt more about asserting authority than fostering a welcoming environment.

I've loved my experience trying a wide range of dance classes at PopRox! I really appreciate PopRox's diversity, including their different class styles (K-Pop, Dance After Dark, Jazz Funk, Hip Hop... there's really something for everyone!), their fabulous teachers, and their students. What an awesome community - I'll be sad to leave it now that I'm moving away from Seattle!

PopRox is amazingly talented and welcoming dance studio! As non-dancers, we have taken many of their intro K-pop dance classes and always had an incredible time. We also recently had the pleasure of having May and Derrick be our private instructors + choreographers for our wedding’s first dance, which involved a K-pop style choreography, even involving backup dancers. They designed an amazing routine for us, and created such a welcoming learning environment that we nailed the performance! Would highly recommend!
