I have worked with Pristine for various roofing projects. Their workmanship, quality, communication and timeliness are great. I’ve dealt every time with Justin Tagliaferri and he is great! They have great customer service and really care about doing a good job. All questions are answered fully and there is open communication, which is key for big projects. Everything is explained very well and they do not cut any corners. I would highly recommend!
We went from wood siding to composite vinyl siding and had our garage roof, soffit, fascia and eavestroughs all done by Pristine. Rick our salesperson was great from start and till the end. Rick answered all phone calls and emails within a timely manner. When it came to the time we had all our work done the roofing crew was very nice and knowledgeable and then when our siding work was getting done by Roman and his crew they were amazing from start to finish. Our home feels like a brand new home and we are very pleased with all the work completed. I would recommend Pristine Roofing and Siding to anyone looking at having work done on their home.
Pristine handled the retrofit of the exterior of our 80-year-old house professionally and efficiently. It was a big job, and we were impressed with the hard-working crew who had the unenviable task of cutting off the stucco (releasing angry wasps in the process) and removing the chimneys to reveal what was hidden underneath. Fortunately, much of the original structure was in fine shape but there some areas that had suffered water damage over the years. But that was repaired, with a cozy wrap of rigid insulation added, and the exterior finished with vinyl siding. The work crew was cheerful and helpful when we had questions or concerns, and the project manager was quick to arrive when there were some challenges to address. It was a noisy, chaotic month of work to live through, but we are pleased with the results.
Pristine completed my home’s exterior work professionally. From my first call to their office, to having the project manager assess work and provide quote, to having the work completed, I was impressed. The materials used were premium quality and were installed meeting Pristine’s high standards. Clean up of my yard was top notch. I highly recommend calling Pristine, if you want the best for your home. There is value in their pricing, and I appreciate knowing the installers completed the work to higher than industry standards.
Let me preface this review by introducing myself as a recently retired Quality Control manager with MANY years of experience giving feedback regarding quality of product, and I can spot incomplete work in a second. Start off with good news and the positive things about Pristine. • The house looks great and we get many compliments on it from people walking by. o I think it’s the best-looking house in the neighbourhood • The color scheme suggested to us by Pristine looks fantastic • The workmanship was excellent o Workers were friendly • They completed all the “extra” work we requested o Insulated the floor in the front overhang (more on this later) o Fixed some water damage around windows o Completely rebuilt the ‘eyebrow’ on the house, when the original plan was to reuse what was already there (but is was easier to rebuilt than try to use the existing wood) • I considered this a complete job as they redid the entire outside of the front of the house, removing all existing siding and stucco at the front entranceway, they cut out an existing arch at the entranceway o We understood that we were asking for the entire front of the house be redone, for the agreed price Negative things • They arrived to start the job in a blizzard in February o Got their equipment stuck on the street before they even started (suggestion – don’t start a job in a blizzard) • Although the crew practiced ‘clean as you go’, there was still a lot of debris left over in the spring, which I cleaned up. o They said that they send crews out to clean up once the snow melts, but I never saw them. • There was no final inspection with the customer to ensure everything was finished to satisfaction. o And my error was to pay the bill in full, with the job unfinished. o I “just expected” a complete job, that I trusted them to finish, without question. o I was forgotten about after I paid the bill. • The biggest negative was the amount of time it took to complete the job, over 3 years from start to finish. The Story. Pristine showed up in Feb 2022 and substantially finished almost all of the job within 20 days. They called to ask for payment and I paid in full. I didn’t even realize that they hadn’t installed soffits where they insulated under the front overhang. When I realized the unfinished work, I called Pristine and was told that wasn’t included. I couldn’t understand why it wouldn’t be, since we contracted for the entire house to be done. In any event I wanted it completed, so they gave me a price of about $350. I said sure, go ahead, because I want it finished (I would have said yes to any amount). I seem to have gotten lost in the shuffle, because it still wasn’t done 3 years later. (I’m very patient and was seeing how long it was going to take to finish it.) One day, a Pristine truck parked in front of my house. I went out to talk with them, asking if they were here to finish my job (knowing full well they had no idea what I was talking about). I asked them to look up my address in their system, and sure enough, there was an open item to take care of. I asked them to have someone call me to have it completed. I got a phone call back within half an hour, and then a couple more follow up calls to schedule the work. Within a short time, there were a couple of fellows there to install the last portion of soffit. They were there a couple of hours and told me that they didn’t have the correct material to finish the last bit of the job, but they’d be back. A few weeks later, I received an invoice for the job. I called them to inform them that job still wasn’t finished because the crew didn’t have the correct material. I followed up with an email showing the unfinished portion. They said they’d have it finished. At some point, the job was finished! I still hadn’t paid the final bill, and said I’d like as in person meeting to give my feedback prior to payment. Pristine management met with me for hour, listened to the story, and excused my final bill. In the end, I am a satisfied customer. It just took a very long time.
