Staff doesn’t give accurate instructions and refuses to service clients who follow them. I arrived for a stand in and was told it was too late and to come back the next day before 4 pm. I returned as requested and was still turned down. Incredibly disappointing and unprofessional lack of accessibility. Quest clearly prioritizing profit and trading off low quality health care outcomes while undersupporting their staff.

Visit: 04/25/2026 at 11:10 AM-12:15 PM This visit was extremely disappointing and frustrating. We brought my mother in for a blood culture as a walk-in after receiving the order just yesterday, with instructions that results are needed this week. We were unable to secure an appointment online. My mother recently had a stroke and is non-ambulatory, requiring full assistance—transporting her is very difficult. Despite clearly explaining this, we were turned away because they “do not accept walk-ins” and were told all specimens had to be sent out for the day. What made this worse was the response from staff: I was simply given a phone number and told to call and schedule for next week. For a blood culture that requires timely processing, suggesting a delay like that shows a serious lack of urgency and consideration for the patient’s condition. This isn’t just about policy—it’s about how patients are treated. No effort was made to offer alternatives, escalate the situation, or provide any meaningful guidance given the medical urgency. If this location does not accept walk-ins under any circumstance, that needs to be clearly stated online. Patients and families should not have to go through the physical and emotional strain of bringing a medically fragile patient in, only to be turned away without help. Management should review both the communication and handling of situations like this. Patient care should include basic awareness of urgency and compassion—not just rigid enforcement of policy.

There is no front desk or phone line to speak to someone. Even to drop off samples pre-ordered by doctor there is an excessively long wait
