We visited RècrèOFUN today, but it was a somewhat underwhelming experience. The staff were pleasant, but I feel the facilities were a bit "sad" overall. The climbing frame equipment was quite worn in places, and felt grubby. Rubbish and dust has accumulated underneath in areas inaccessible (but visible) to visitors. One of the climbing areas with a slide was closed for repairs. There is an arcade area, but several machines also not working. Staff were seen mopping the floor, however I'm not sure what cleaning of the equipment takes place, or how regularly. Overall, the equipment didn't feel clean in my opinion. And it wasn't particularly busy, being a Tuesday. The above could be forgiveable if it was a cheap family outing, however it cost $63 for 2 children and 1 adult. I'm glad my wife stayed home! I feel that's quite expensive, particularly compared to going to see a movie at the local IMAX theatre. 2 adults and 2 children was cheaper than a visit to RècrèOFUN. I see from other review reaponses that they're in the midst of an expansion, however that was 6 months ago, so I'm not sure if this has eventuated yet or not. Not being a local, I don't know of other indoor playgrounds in QC, however would recommend low expectations if planning a visit here. I'm sorry for the less than positive review, but it's what I would have liked to have read prior to our visit.
Fun for kids, but so poorly managed… It’s a complete zoo, from trying to order a snack, 1 month expired cream only for coffee, (without offering something else instead or a refund, here you go that’s it) and « running out of bandaids » when one of our kid scraped his knee and bled. No help at all offered . They run a day camp and after seeing this i would never leave my child under their care for sure!
My son really enjoyed this place but the staff are very young and don’t take reports of children being filmed by a stranger seriously. A man was there with a women and child but taking videos of strangers and their children. I watched him do so for 30 minutes straight and reported it to someone who works there and all they did was tell me they will keep an eye on him and they sure did not. He even filmed me while looking straight at me. This is not tolerable behavior in a place with so much children.
Unfortunately nothing changed in better way! The dirtiest place ever!!! And its kids environment??? The stuff doesn’t care about cleanliness at all!!!
It is a really good place to have fun but I don't recommend it for children under 3 years old. Even tho there is a space reserved to them.... rules are not followed. Too many kids running around and not caring for others. It was a Saturday around 1600 , and there was a lot of garbage around so.... yeah... fun but not great for younger child. 😕 It was my second time. During the week, it's more relax and so kids are careful with their environment.
