This was a very easy process to signup and take the test the following day. What I appreciated was the customer service end. The online class portion is go at your own pace, takes roughly 1-2 hours depending on your background and experience. The VAM (Voice Assisted Manikin) was quite helpful and informative whenever I would make mistakes. It made the learning process more enjoyable. I totally recommend everyone to take their BLS/CPR certification through Safety Training Seminars!

The class was easy although it’s quite long. But necessary. They made it easy for us. And they’re always there to assist us if we ever have questions. The skills part was not bad either even if the mannequins a little bit challenging. But over all, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I would do my classes with them again! The staff was always there and return your call right away. THANK U GUYS!!!!

I was nervous at first. It has been a while since I renewed my certification but the step by step procedure helped me remember everything at my own pace. Very comforting and easy. I finished under an hour. Georgia guidance was outstanding! Salamat po!! I definitely will be coming back in the future and already told all my siblings, friends and coworkers!! The facility in the avenue was cleaned, warm and had a fan on the wall to help us keep cool. I recommend wearing short sleeve shirt while practicing on the mannequin. Also parking was easy on a Saturday. Great and safe location. Thank you and God bless!!!

This is maybe the 4th time I have completed my BLS and PALS recertification with this outfit. They did a great job when they had live instructors, but I think it’s even better now with the online learning and automated mannequins. The online materials were already good, but they have been edited over the past 2 years and are even better: the information is much clearer, and the format of asking questions constantly throughout the lectures is very effective, as are the scenarios they present to test you. I also like that they repeat the questions you got wrong, but not immediately afterwards, so they can test that you truly know the right answer. Although I miss the camaraderie of learning with other health care providers in a classroom with a live instructor, the online learning has its benefits. No offense to any of the past excellent instructors, but they haven’t always been able to answer my questions. These materials are extremely accurate, and actually cleared up a few questions that had never been adequately answered by past instructors. The hands-on part of the class, which is practicing CPR on automated mannequins, is also an improvement. From the computer’s objective measurements and feedback, I learned that my technique had been wrong for years (not pushing hard enough, bagging too forcefully on an infant). Live instructors cannot always detect these subtle mistakes. I feel so much more confident in my CPR skills now. I will definitely continue my future recertifications with Safety Training Seminars. I used 2 of the facilities in San Francisco. I appreciate that the website provides virtual tours of the sites, including clear entry instructions. The site on Taraval street was fine. It’s small and could have been stuffy but thankfully there are large oscillating fans. The site on Parnassus Street was very similar: small and secure. My only suggestion (not criticism) would be to placing a fan at this site as well; I was alone, but if there had been another learner or earlier in the day, I would have been quite overheated. Also, I wish both of these sites had bathrooms, but I appreciate that the website was very clear that there are none available. Finally, I would just suggest that they routinely physically check the equipment. 1 of the infant mannequins I tried to use was broken (it was fine; I was alone so I just moved to a different station). I continue to strongly recommend Safety Training Seminars.
