School of Rock in Tucson offers dynamic music education for children and adults, blending individual lessons with group band experiences. Our programs, including Rookies for ages 3-5 and Adult Programs, focus on performance skills, confidence-building, and fun. With expert instructors and state-of-the-art facilities, we help students go from beginners to stage performers, fostering a love for music in a supportive community environment.
Great program for both children and adults alike. It was a lot of fun to do the adult program, learned a ton and now I have my son enrolled in Rookies, he loves it!
The School of Rock adult program was life changing. Over the course of two 'seasons' of the program, not only did I improve as a guitarist more than I had in 10 years of 'learning on my own', but I gained the know-how and confidence to join local bands and regularly play on stage. This program was EXACTLY what I needed as an adult student to break out of the "bedroom guitarist" stage. I'm leaving this review ~2 years after completing two seasons of the program, and since then I've played in two bands, have played many open mics, and have even gotten paid to play a couple of times. Daniel is an EXCELLENT guitar player and an INCREDIBLE teacher. In about 8 months, he took me from having no knowledge of scales or where the notes are on the fretboard, to playing improvised solos in blues, dorian, and major scales. Though! I do really wish there was an alumni program/group for adult students coming out of the program to network with other SOR adult program alumni and get involved in playing with local bands.
Absolutely amazing experience. Very knowledgeable, experienced, professional instructors and musicians. Very attentive and respectful staff (also musicians) . They will return your call, text or Email within 24 hours. I've only been with the School of Rock Family for 6 months and plan to extend and add additional family members. They have very competitive prices. I highly recommend the free lesson. Just be warned you will be hooked. They have private rooms for 1 on 1 lessons to help your child or for you to grow. They have a crazy awesome setup for the band where they rock out to get ready for the big performance. Great experience. I highly recommend it.
My kids LOVED the Classic Rock camp at School of Rock Tucson!! They went from "no experience" to playing a full concert at the end of the week! It was a total confidence booster!! Now they want lessons and can't stop talking about it!! The staff was encouraging and supportive! This school is the place for your kids to learn an instrument and how to play with a band.
An amazing school for music lessons for all ages! My 4 year old LOVES coming here and learning about all of the instruments. I was so excited to learn that little wings is 3-5 years old! The option to choose between individual and group lessons makes a huge difference. Owner is kind, honest, and sincere. Love this place!
