Man, I only make time for reviews that are worth it!! They have a couple guys & girls there that are always energetic & upbeat. Happy to answer your questions and quick to fix any issues with the vacuums or anything. But there's 1 guy that stood out to me 2 times in a row. Said his name is David Jones. Keep up that energy man! People sometimes notice when you aren't expecting it.
Still love this car wash! It’s been one of the best ever since it opened! Love the multiple locations as well. I’ve gotten to know the employees here at this location on university and they always do a great job. There’s a guy in the detailing side named David Jones and if he wipes down your car down before it goes to the detailer, he’s A+! He takes extra time to get it really dry all over and gets all the hard to gets areas like mirrors, door handles and back of vehicle which is really appreciated. Thank you for going over and above every time I come David!
If I could give this car wash zero stars I would. I took my Jeep Wrangler there approximately a month ago to get a wash. I was with my friend who watched this whole thing happen. My jeep has a lot of modifications on it. It has a lift kit and big tires and lights on top as well as on hood and a lift jack on side. I specifically asked the guy who was at the payment area before the first tunnel if my jeep could go through the wash without damaging my car. He assured me it could and was safe. So I paid for the most expensive car wash and went through the first tunnel with no problems. When I went through first tunnel I was told to make a left U-turn to go through second tunnel which I did. Initially everything was fine, but as the overhead large brush came down on my car to shine it, it got stuck on my lights and my lift jack and raised my jeep off the ground some. I thought the brush was going to go through my windshield and injure both me and my passenger. There were 2 guys working that section that looked in horror through the window as I wondered why they didn’t attempt to stop the overhead brush. It eventually dislodged and my jeep came down hard. The guy working the wash told me he saw what happened, it’s on video and told me they had no way to stop the wash as it happened. Like an emergency stop button. Which is absolutely insane to me. I could see that my overhead lights were now bent, my lift jack was also bent and had scratched my fender. And that my jeep was now misaligned when I drove to vacuum. I also noticed my check engine light had come on but stated I did not know if it was coincidence to the damage that had just happened to my jeep, or if it was something else and notified them I would get that checked out. I filed a claim. Eventually the Regional Manager who identified himself as Tracy King called me and told me that there are signs posted “everywhere” around the car wash regarding cars with aftermarket parts and washing car at your own risk. When I returned as requested by him to have pictures taken of damage to file the claim, the general manager told me there was actually only ONE sign, and it was AFTER you pay and go through first tunnel and before second. He (the general manager, not Tracy) was very nice and apologized profusely and told me he could see the extensive damage to my jeep and would submit it. I was then told by Tracy that someone from the main office would call me. I eventually (2 weeks later) got a call from a man who identified himself as Jerry. He tells me that my claim was denied because there were, again, “multiple signs” posted on aftermarket parts on cars. I told him no there wasn’t. I went and reviewed and checked everywhere and ONLY after you pay and after first tunnel was there one and no one is looking for a random sign after you have already paid and been assured your car is fine, for a sign in between tunnels. You are focused on making a U-turn in a narrow space. They even watched video showing that my car lifted and told me my claim was denied. I hope no one has to go through what I am going through right now. This is terrible customer service. I will be taking this to small claims courts and contacting the Better Business Bureau. I have been through car washes in the past that make it suitable for your car that has after market parts to go through without damage. So when you are told and assured by a worker it’s fine, you believe it. And you have no signs that tell you otherwise you believe it. Had I known that the over head brush would come down on my jeep and damage my car, I would not have gone through with it. But I guess they don’t care and just want your money and don’t train their employees to tell people you are doing this at your own risk. This was the Shine Time in Huntsville off University. If they put up signs OTHER than the one in between the two tunnels, it will be only now because I have made a report and told them I will be taking this to court.
I usually love this location, but it has been on a decline this year. The vacuums barley work, and the pressure in the car wash changes. Sometimes it cleans pretty good then other times I would have to go back over it myself. I started my membership back up by the GM at the time, and I was getting charged $80 to $90 a month. I tried to address it at the location, and there was a young man said that he would take care of it. He did not, and when I came back to the location the GM that had signed me up had quit. The young man had been fired. It took a few days for customer service to get back to me. After talking with them, I thought the situation had been rectified. The next time I go back to get a wash I find out it was canceled and no one could tell me why so I restarted again. It was the day before my actual due date. I asked the "temp" manager at the time would it still come out the next month on the original due date and he said yes. Of course it was not, but I thought maybe it was just the first time. So the day I was going to cancel it was deducted a day early. I went online to cancel it, and followed up the next day at the location and it still wasn't canceled. I emailed and called customer service. I received 2 emails stating that per their policy, I could not get a refund. I don't want to continue to go somewhere with terrible customer service, and I'm basically stuck with a membership that I HAVE to use. I even asked if I could get a gift card instead of a refund for a future wash, and no one has called me back or replied. There are so many car washes in the area now. I only used this one because it's close to my house, but I would rather drive further for better customer service.
Love it there! They got "DA JOKER" looking perfect! I bought the Top tier wash and polish and my truck "shines"! Thank y'all!
