Southern helped me when I was double booked by a company and didn’t have any idea how I was gonna rent a place and chairs n tables! My son’s 30th birthday was a success thanks to the tables n chairs we secured and the 2 young men that delivered called n let me know when they were 15 mins away and were so nice & friendly! A big thank you to Southern Events Party Rental Company and the crew for an on-time, efficient set up at the Tennessee State Museum on August 9th for my daughter’s wedding reception. The crew’s attention to detail and adeptness permitted the caterer, florist, band and wedding planning team to carry out their numerous duties. When I arrived at the Museum at 6 PM, the venue looked amazing. I have not had any complaints from either the museum or other vendors including the planning team that tear down did not go well! Thank you so much for all your advice, last minute adjustments and coordination.
The rentals we chose for our wedding were beautiful and very high quality! They had all of the items I had envisioned having at our wedding, their inventory is expansive for sure! My only suggestion is if you are using the farm wood tables, just know your breakdown is going to take longer than an hour. We had a hard end time with our venue and Southern Events didn’t let us know until the week before the wedding that they needed an hour and a half rather than an hour, as stated on our contract, to breakdown which meant we either had to end our wedding 30 minutes earlier or pay $1,500 to extend our rental time. In the end, they agreed to give a credit for the tables we no longer needed (which they typically won’t do less than 30 days out) but we were still out an extra $500. The wedding day went smooth but just be aware that you may want to bake some extra time in for breakdown if you are at a venue with a strict out time.
