This place is a scam. Last week I called to book my Road test only because my husband was deploying and the DMV didn't have dates that aligned with our time. I paid and had my test scheduled, the guy we spoke to on the said we could use our vehicle as along as it has a Texas plate which it did. When we got there they said I couldn't use my car and my options were to reschedule and pay an additional $35 or rent their car for $50. I proceeded to rent a vehicle from them. Test time - she asked me to release the break which I did, she then yelled 'all the way'. I said to her madame I'm not pressing it, she made a facial expression and got into the car. We're on the road now, cars were parked in one of the lanes which I was on, mind you I had about 4-5 car lengths( mind you I've been driving since I was 17 and 23years old in the USA, I'm almost 30, never had a traffic violation/charges/accidents) ahead of me and more than enough time to change lanes, as I was about to indicate my lane change she said" Don't you see cars parked there' I said ' Yes that's why I'm about to get over. Moving on she told me I'm not stopping at the stop signs and I'm driving slow. I stayed silent and shrugged it off. Of course I slowed down the car breaks don't work well so if I was to drive continuously at 25mph I would overshoot the stop sign and of course if I slammed the break she would fail me as well. At the end we returned to the parking lot, she told me you failed. If you take the driving course with us the instructors can show you the road and help you and you can also pay to retake the test another day. I went inside, thought about r/s but decided I'd wait and save and do my test with people who aren't trying to take every penny from you. I don't recommend this place, it's good to read reviews, had I know how many bad reviews there were about this place I could have saved so much money.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. THEY DO ALL CLASSES IN SPANISH REGARDLESS IF YOU ONLY SPEAK ENGLISH. I BOOKED MY SON FOR HIS LICENSE CLASS HERE PAID THE $150 PACKAGE DEAL SO THAT WE COULD GET THROUGH EVERYTHING EFFORTLESSLY. UNFORTUNATELY THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. WHEN SCHEDULING HIS DRIVING TEST ALL WAS SAID TO BRING IN WAS HIS PERMIT AND ONLINE COURSE COMPLETED WHEN BOOKING. THEY CHARGED HIM ANOTHER $75 FOR NOT HAVING HIS RECEIPT AND ALSO ADVISED HIM THE “SEAT” ON HIS VEHICLE WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE. THEREFORE WE HAD TO PAY TO USE THERE VEHICLE. I THEN CAME IN TO BRING HIS PROOF OF RECEIPT WHILE HE WAS TAKING HIS DRIVING TEST & ASKED FOR A REFUND. THE LADY THEN SAID “IF HE DOES NOT PASS HIS TEST THEN YOU CAN USE YOUR RECEIPT TO PAY AGAIN FOR THE TESTING IF HE PASSED THEN WE CAN REFUND”. I ALSO ASKED FOR THE SUPERVISOR NUMBER THEY GAVE ME A CARD SAYING THAT WAS HER DIRECT NUMBER. WHILE WAITING I CALLED THE NUMBER AND THE FRONT DESK ANSWERED WHILE I WAS THERE IN FRONT OF THEM. MY SON THEN CAME IN SAYING HE PASSED & THE SUPERVISOR WAS HIS INSTRUCTOR. (Not that I was aware yet) SHE LINGERD AROUND HEARING THE SITUATION NOT DOING ANYTHING TO DIFUSE/HELP THE SITUATION. I THEN ASKED FOR THE REFUND SINCE HE PASSED THE TEST. THEY THEN STATED THEY WILL NOT GIVE ANY REFUNDS AND ALSO WANTED TO CHARGE A PROCESS FEE FOR PASSING THE TEST. THE YOUNG GENTLEMAN AT THE DESK THEN ASKED THE “SUPERVISOR” FOR HELP AND SHE ‘SANDRA MARQUEZ’ STATED “WHATS YOUR PROBLEM?”. SHE IS INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL & UNMANNERED BUSINESS WOMAN. SHE ALSO STATED SHE IS THE OWNER OF THE FACILITY AND DID NOT CARE ABOUT HOW THE SITUATION WAS BEING HELD AND WOULD COMMENT ON MY REVIEW. I STRONGLY ADVISE TO TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE WHERE YOU WILL BE APPRECIATED AND NOT FEEL PRESSURED OR FEEL UNWANTED LIKE THIS BEFORE ANY CLASS AND OR TEST YOU OR A LOVED ONE NEEDS TO TAKE.

My experience with the S.V.M Defensive driving school was satisfactory for what I had come in expecting. I got the full bundle for over 100+ for the adult driving class and for an appointment for a driving lesson. It took me two attempts to get my license through S.V.M with their instructor being very capable and honest in where I went wrong. Overall I say it’s a very friendly school with a mix of all ages. I would refer anyone to this school if needed the reason, and my most enjoyable moment I had with the School would be how fast and helpful everyone working there was, making it a breeze to do everything I needed to do. My only complaint about the whole course would be the class itself, personally I feel like I learned very little from the 6 hour course as much of it felt like padding. My experience with the 6 hour course was lack luster to say the least, but then again maybe I just knew everything I needed to already and it was just repeating things I already knew.

Sandra, regarding your claim, You mentioned having me on camera that’s fine. Anyone who sees the footage will also see how I was treated and the attitude I experienced. Everyone who enters your location is on camera. I came in after receiving a flyer via USPS, and in my opinion, your behavior was rude. Now, you’re asking me to remove my review for sharing my personal experience? My review reflects my honest opinion. I also read a review here (screenshot saved) where another young lady shared her experience, stating she was charged repeatedly — not my words, hers. The information you provided to me is publicly available and free I can obtain it at any police station without charge. Yet you wanted to charge me? In my opinion I felt like I was getting scammed by you, by the owner of this location. Everyone deserves the freedom to express their personal experiences. You mentioned my nails, they are natural nails thank you… Regarding your edits: You made comments about my nails and “warrants” I have screenshots of this as well. I have not been pulled over in eight years, so attending your location to handle my recent tickets was the responsible thing to do. It is not “extended warrants” it was two tickets. Please do not post false information about me. In my opinion you shouldn’t have my personal information saved because I am not your client and I did not do business with you. * My accounts are completely genuine. they’re for my personal use as anyone has the right to create Google account including the right to freedom of speech.
