We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding renewal vow officiant and coordinator than Stephanie Veri of Sweetheart Events Inc./Veri Creative Events. From the very beginning, Stephanie took the time to truly get to know us and helped us craft vows that felt deeply personal and authentic to our relationship. Her support during the rehearsal was invaluable — she guided everyone with patience, clarity, and calm, which helped us feel confident and prepared going into the wedding vow renewal day. On the day itself, the vow renewal ceremony flowed beautifully and felt intimate, meaningful, and true to who we are as a couple. Stephanie’s warm presence, intersectional inclusion, and attention to detail made all the difference, and so many of our guests commented on how heartfelt and special the ceremony was. Curtis & I were completely blown away by Kay and the Sweetheart Events team. We are so incredibly lucky to have met such genuine caring people who have poured their heart and soul into making our special day meaningful for us. Upon meeting Kay, we clicked instantly and felt so supported in all the decision making in our wedding planning journey. Her reassuring, calming, and extremely organized type A personality helped alleviate all our anxiety in the whole process. It felt like she was truly family and an older sister figure. We could not have been more lucky to have her as our wedding planner. Months after our wedding, we look back and genuinely would not have imagined any part of this process without her. Kay made all our dreams come true and we felt so taken care of. We were obsessed with how the reception space, stationary, and decor came out. Curtis and I were tearing up at the sight of our reception space reveal and cannot believe how Kay curated our dream wedding with every beautiful and intentional detail. From the personalized lemonade and water bottles at our ceremony to the pearl fruit styling details and cozy lamps on our reception tables, she truly outdid herself. Her, along with Stephanie and the rest of the team have exceeded all our expectations. What a dream come true.

Kay and the SHE Team did an incredible job for our special day at the end of Sept 2025. We went with the finishing touch package as we enjoyed the process and wanted to be involved in the wedding process. The personalized online planning workbook and touch point calls really helped us during the planning process. It wasn't until a month out we started to get nervous. That is when Kay stepped in and ensured us the day was going to be perfect. She really delivered the perfect day for us. We didn't have to worry about anything and knew we were in good hands. On top of that she also customized all of our stationary for our rehearsal dinner and the wedding day! Thank you again Kay, Stephanie and the SHE Team for supporting us over the past year. Best Experience EVER. From planning the wedding to our BEST DAY EVER, I will be forever grateful for all Stephanie has done for us. I'm the Happiest Husband right now and I had the best Wedding and Bridal Shower. This is the best company to hire for Weddings and Events. I would give 5 million stars if I could. Stephanie was so much more than a Day-of-Coordinator. We’ll go through how Sweetheart Events killed it from beginning to end. First, we reached out to every preferred Planner from our Venue’s list and Sweetheart Events was the most earnest to engage. Their website emphasized planning not just the wedding, but also a marriage, so we were already getting the feeling that they put a lot of care into every couple. We had a magical first meeting with Kay, then we blindsided her with a change of wedding date. Stephanie, Sweetheart Event’s founder, jumped in to help us. Following them on Instagram, we quickly learned how much every Sweetheart Events planner loves and supports each other. We were off and flying with their incredible planning sheet and booked every vendor within a month. Every meeting with Stephanie ran over an hour because we had so many questions. She never once made us feel like a burden, made us feel bad about asking questions before she was fully onboarded, or seemed overwhelmed by our documentation (there were a lot of lists and files). We had our 2nd meeting together in Vancouver where she gave us the best advice on how to talk to staff during the tasting and most importantly to enjoy this once in a lifetime moment and record our feelings before and after. We still watch those videos back. When Stephanie fully onboarded two months before the wedding, coincidently things finally got hard. She handled all of the challenging conversations so that we could focus on our DIY projects. I was able to text her updates and she was like a best friend, always obsessed with the progress and encouraging. I couldn’t share with my own best friends because I wanted to blow their minds when they saw everything at the wedding. It was such a gift having Stephanie to confide in. No one thinks a rehearsal is going to be fun. Everyone was absolutely charmed by Stephanie and HANGING on her every word/advice. We have never seen our families listen to anyone like the way they listened to her. It takes someone really special to get the 2 year old AND mom that doesn’t speak English to listen closely. She came up with one of the most special moments of the wedding: have the officiant step aside and let the ring bearer stand front and center to give the bride and groom their rings. It was movie magic. She was incredibly patient, drove one hour to the rehearsal, waited for late family members, brought AND dropped off the flowers at the Airbnb; not fazed or complaining once. Other vendors made so many last minute changes to Stephanie’s schedule, introduced new ideas 2 weeks before go time, and she handled it all with enormous grace. She and her assistants acted like our maid of honors at the wedding, bringing the bride champagne, making sure the bride looks flawless; all while juggling real coordination like keeping family from destroying the reception hall with bags and trouble shooting last minute difficulties from the venue. They were so incredibly thoughtful during every moment of the wedding day, it brought the bride to tears. Stephanie also MC-ed (not her job but she goes above and beyond). We definitely noticed how quickly she fixed the song when we missed our dance cue. She did it so smoothly, no guests noticed. Then, they ended the BEAST of a day at 2 AM. Picking Sweetheart Events is the best choice we ever made (besides picking each other). We just love them and are so happy to follow their success as they bring joy to so many other couples. RosexRyan
